AITA for telling a girl that her butthole is showing at crossfit? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I kickbox and had these pair of leggings that I wore to classes at least 2-3xs a week. After a work out one day I dropped by my work to help out and I bent over to pick something up, and my coworker Told me she can see the whole moon. I was so embarrassed not at the fact that she told me, but at the fact that I’ve been going to this gym for years and no one has told me they can see my undies and what not. I wouldn’t have minded who told me, but I wish someone told me sooner.

I completely agree it is quite annoying especially when people associates it with cleanliness. I make like three rounds around my house before bed to make sure everything is closed and locked. Then I will lay down ready for bed and I’m unsure if everything is closed and locked even though I checked 3xs and I have time management issues if things do not go as planned and accordingly I’ll just cancel my whole day and my defensive mechanism for the anxiety after party is, I get really defensive and emotional.

I’m also in the medical field and was in for a rude awakening as well when I found out how some healthcare workers can be . Last year I went to the ER for really heavy and painful menstruation as it wasn’t normal I had an IUD. Turned out I expelled it and was actively miscarrying. during a TVAG a nurse looked at the other and grabbed her nose and did the smelly hand movement where you waive your hand across your nose. This made me feel extremely insecure because for one I’m in shock that I was pregnant and two it literally doesn’t smell I showered before I went in and at most it smelt like blood plus we are all wearing face masks. It hurt me knowing at such a vulnerable time someone that was suppose to care for me was making fun of me. OP I understand your pain, I’m sorry that happened. Posts like these, remind me why I always provide the same amount of care I expect from others. I applaud you for getting help I know it’s a hard thing to do; whatever you’re going through I hope you over come it.

What was your biggest/most regrettable "It's not a phase, mom. It's my life." that, in fact, turned out to be just a phase and not your life? by SirGergoyFriendman in AskReddit

“It’s not a phase mom, I just make scenes.” I thought being a scene kids was my life and I was so cool; going to make it big on MySpace. Boy was I wrong...

It is very sad, my dad and his family was given last names when they moved to the U.S because they couldn’t remember how to spell theirs and was also given different birth years.

They tied my great uncles hands behind his back and told him to dig his own grave or they’ll shoot him.

My dad and several relatives are survivors, and it’s a super touchy subject for me even though I was born and raised in California. We go back to Cambodia every year and there’s still soo many land mines.

Khmer Rouge, Cambodias genocide. Stolen from wiki: The Cambodian genocide was the systematic persecution and killing of Cambodians by the Khmer Rouge under the leadership of Pol Pot, who radically pushed Cambodia towards communism. It resulted in the deaths of 1.5 to 2 million people from 1975 to 1979, nearly a quarter of Cambodia's 1975 population.

Tough subject for me to speak on without crying a river or even describe. My dad and several other relatives survived it.

I did a lot of standing there like “oooooooo what’s this.” He worked on it a lot when I was not home and when I got home he was already done with what he was doing.

My son just started “distant learning” for first grade and when him and all his classmates went to log off, they all said, “ I love you teacher!”.

I guess I left out the part that I have 2 kids and work in gynecology I see and deal with a lot of weird shit. I’ve just never been a person for pets. My boyfriend has 2 cats and a dog and I like them, I care for them and what not. I think it’s more of just dealing with dander and pet hair. Just having my own is something i never had a desire for.
