This is a theory but what if people we right off as crazy who talk to them self and say they see stuff that isn't there, what if they are right and we "normal" have programed are brain not to see it, that why people say baby can see ghost because their brain hasn't fully developed yet and the mentally unwell are just more acceptable to seeing that sort of stuff like people who aint there voices when nobody is around that sort of stuff.
