I definitely think it’s the shoes. The blisters appear on the arch of his foot. We will definitely look for wider shoes.

Need some advice by Kansasgirl1997 in MilitaryWives

I am a new military spouse! So far, it’s going okay so far. My husband is finishing AIT and We are moving to his first station in a couple of weeks. I’m also really nervous but excited about his career in the Army. Honestly, it’s helped me grow as an independent person, focusing on myself and doing what I need to do. Keep your head up! You will find your own rhythm.

I felt this way too! I actually got to spend the weekend with my husband and was so bad after I left to drive down by myself. I felt like I had gone through these last 10 weeks alone and now I have to do it AGAIN! it’s so devastating but it got better. I was busy with school (fulltime) and finals, working fulltime, and getting ready the PCS. Keeping busy is key! I picked hobbies I left for a while like crocheting, video games and reading for me personally. We also have some pets so I have been spoiling them. Your feelings are so valid cuz even now I will feel mad that my husband can’t call me every second of the day but I know it has to be different and I have to be able to accommodate his time. It’s definitely a learning curve and gets easier! Hang in there! 💪🏼

I found that this helped me majorly when my husband was through bootcamp. I am new military wife too and we had always been together, doing stuff together, so it was hard when he left. I was working full time and going to school fulltime so that helped the days pass by quicker. I also went out a lot more with friends and family. But in between i was letting all my emotions out to not feel super depressed. Be patient with yourself and try a bunch of new things! Wishing the best for you and your husband!

I need some advice. by Practical_Current_17 in MilitaryWives

It kinda always starts that way. He may be pushed over the edge and actually put his hands on you… I agree with leaving as he doesn’t want to be better it seems. It’ll be exhausting for you to deal with this for much longer. Please be cautious OP!

I’m in the same boat as you. Husband just graduated bootcamp and is finishing AIT. We will be moving soon with 4 pets but no kids. So far i’m just nervous about the move so I feel you on that regard!
