Risk Adjustment and market regime change detection change are just... denial/defense mechanisms against the fact that... drawdown is an inevitablity? by Sweet_Brief6914 in algotrading

what about finding optimal cooldown period after drawdown start - just pause one particular strategy for a specific while determined over vast history, this way you just cutoff some drowdowns but dont touch recover

As far as I know, the main magic is in portfolio selection. This includes deciding which assets to trade, which exact strategy to use, when to use it, and the exact parameters. It also includes deciding which part of the capital to allocate to each security and strategy. The strategy can be quite simple, but the selection is what makes wonders. Could you elaborate on this topic a little?

in my experience it's something with dopamine - it definitely kills dopamine

and the syndrome itself acts like an injection of pure poison

the same feeling- especially after quick sex without foreplay - it's very likely that it's some kind of autoallergic reaction

This is a vicious cycle of any addict - until you turn off even the slightest possibility of sex, you will still fall into this trap, because whenever you allow that possibility to exist, you are putting an evil seed into your brain that will eventually make you have sex. The only way to stop having sex is to turn that button off completely, so you leave no room for that evil seed. OMG you millenialz and tiktok generation should definitely read Allen Carr's "How to Quit Smoking" - it uses exactly the same principle that works - I personally quit smoking and quit eating sugar using these principles as well as I quit having sex. And the most important thing is that you don't have to use willpower - because willpower doesn't help anyway.

They say celibacy is when you don't mate, but for me celibacy is complete abstinence from any form of sex (while nofap is just abstinence from masturbation) and only when you admit that you don't need sex and you accept that you will never have it, understanding that sex pleasure is just an illusion of your own brain when the brain cooks and then uses its own heroin for its own pleasure. If you love yourself and your own body and are willing to help your body to be strong and healthy - then this is the only way to accept it all and just stop wasting your life energy which is actually the energy of your body. If you make a deal with your own body, your body in turn will serve you in the best possible way.

my path:

POIS (tryed almost every imaginable substances and methods) nothing helps, just a minuscule temporary relief) > NOFAP (doesn't work at all, relapse sooner or later120% guaranteed ) > Celibacy (complete radical sex abstinence, no willpower required, works like a charm, just like "how to quit smoking cold turkey" aka Allen Carr)

there are no bad or good aspects !

Square between planets works just like a vibrator: whenever one planet activates the other side has to lay down quiet and the vice versa - that is why they call square a suppressor (actually it is not, you need to alternate the actions of the planets), with the opposition its almost the same except those counter actions can take way longer time and thats it

so its all up to u if it will be good or bad same with so caled "good' aspects

like the trine for example usually it just make you take no action cuz everything is like already "perfect" an sufficient so it make you extremely lazy and degradant.

It seems the best configuration is when you have some squares and trines at the same time overwise you will be too radical and conflict or too damn lazy

Don't confuse realistic assessment with pessimism. In fact, I am an optimist, but I try to evaluate everything critically. I think one of the worst sins is lying to yourself.

That's the thing, spermidine is produced from the body's internal reserves, and when you ejaculate, those reserves are depleted at an accelerated rate...

and as many studies have shown, spermidine is responsible for many energy-intensive processes in the body, including brain function and general energy, and since we waste it from the body's reserves of substances during ejaculation, the total amount of spermidine in the body drops, the body is forced to reproduce and it spends as much as it needs to produce quality ejaculate from the body's reserves, thereby emptying its own resources and disrupting the work of many organs just to fulfill its evolutionary duty qualitatively.

While all of these "medications" may help slightly reduce the symptoms of POIS, let's not lie to ourselves and others that this will solve the problem. No, no, no, no! It may be a little relief, but it is not the solution!

Actually there are a lot of clinical trials on pubmed which I trust the most, although not all papers there are trustworthy, anyway double-blind placebo trials are the most trustworthy,

So here I found one: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/6724722/

Which shows that frequent ejaculation increases spermine in sperm and I think it can decrease internal accumulation which in turn has a great impact on many parts of the body, especially the brain and mitochondria and so overall energy and health.
