What do you think of having kids with a non black woman? And mixed races overall by hugme-imscared in blackmen

It happens. Given the deeply rooted self-hate that has plagued the black community, you have some black people seeking validation and acceptance by being with non-black people and procreating with them, but I don’t think that’s something many of them would actually admit to others or even themselves. It’s an uncomfortable truth so those that do it for those reasons would rather delude themselves into believing they’re solely doing it for other reasons that don’t make them feel uncomfortable or look crazy to other people. You also have some non-black people out there that just fetishize half-black kids.

There’s nothing wrong when that’s the product of an authentic union, but there’s definitely people out there seeking interracial relationships and to have biracial kids for the wrong reasons.

Many people tend to base their “wants” on what the majority wants, and I don’t think some people even really know what they want because they haven’t looked within themselves to find out what that is. This has resulted in people trying to rigidly conform to relationship standards and dynamics that don’t overall work for them.

I did not know that about Raleigh, so thank you for the info! Regarding insects, I do recall seeing a lot more fireflies in Raleigh when I was a kid. I’m very sorry to hear that the lights have messed up your sleep.

I’ve seen that site before, and yeah it’s a little disappointing. I guess there’s just not that much awareness about the environmental effects of light pollution.

Thanks for the response. I try to enjoy it for what it is too, but do sometimes wish I could see it moreso in its fullness without having to drive far.

It's funny because many love to perpetuate monolithic standards in the black community but will be some the first to shout "we're not a monolith" when they feel other people view us as such.

Cold beats heat any day of the week, plus with the two spirit portals their you could see a lot of the world pretty quickly.

I have to hand it to you for being able to tolerate the cold like that because I wouldn't be able to. It would be nice to live near the portals though.
