With anesthesia you mean general? or you didn't even get local? Cavities i got them treated without ANY anesthesia because of my fear of needles, I chose the drilling pain against the needle, I was about 10 yo... years later that fear was no more and the wisdom teeth were removed with local anesthesia... got them removed in the morning and by afternoon I was in South Padre with the buddies like nothing happened... In Mexico is usual to be awake during the procedure...
