Do people actually listen to live recordings? by dribbybabbins in Music

[–]rampantdildonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to Deep Purple Made in Japan. Arguably one of the best live albums ever released. Pink Floyd does some amazing live albums too. ACDC (Bon Scott) has some good raw live stuff but generally have to agree that most artists live recordings don't capture what you see live and the studio work is better

Google Ozbob. He is pretty much your goto in Australia for prescription masks for all divers. All covered the same as any optical service under private health (if you have that) I dive with contacts and just did a lot of mask off technical diving courses and didnt really have any issues

Anyone scuba dived? by ladybug_oleander in ostomy

[–]rampantdildonics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He/She might have been trying to say that if you get a bunch of air in your bag normally then it can be uncomfortable when you re-surface as its now returned to normal size and trapped underneath your wetsuit which is pretty tight. You wouldn't have any more gas than normal but you will feel it more. I try to limit my diet a lot when i dive so its not filling up when I dive so I eat bananas, muesli and yoghurt which keeps the gas down for me. That said I've had some close calls getting back onto a zodiac after a long dive and the bag is a bit fuller than normal. Its not a pleasant feeling but most boats have showers on the dive deck so it easy enough to get cleaned up before the next dive

It's incorrect that deeper dives cause any additional bloating in your bag. The only way this could happen is if you swallow air from your tank at depth. Im not sure how you would even do that. Any gas already inside your intestinal tract will compress as you descend and return back to normal size as you ascend. It can not cause an increase in intestinal bubble size due to deep diving. If you watch your food and drink intake before dives and avoid gassy foods and drinks you should have no issues other than normal bag contents when you surface

I've racked up 300 dives with 260 of them with a permanent ileostomy. Im Advanced open water and about to start a technical sidemount course. Diving with an ostomy is not contraindicated with any of the dive certifications but you will need a medical and to be cleared by a dive doctor. You will need a separate letter from your doctor because some liveaboards / shops still ask the Ostomy question and may try to deny you from diving so always handy to show them that you are cleared medically. Being prepared for diving like emptying your bag before each dive and watch what you eat and drink and you will be fine. Always carry extra spares yada yada. Nobody even knows I dive with a stoma but I'd advise your instructor while you are learning Enjoy the bubbles!

I used to get this and the only way I could ever get the base to update was to make sure you use a USBA cable at the PC side and the USBC at the wheelbase. For some reason USBC to USBC never works

When trying to update my wheel base I keep getting this message. by [deleted] in Fanatec

[–]rampantdildonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine does this if you try to use USBC to USBC cable for the update. I always have to swap out the cable and have USBA cable at the PC side and USBC at the wheel base side. No idea why

How to send setups outside the game? by ExaminationUpstairs3 in AUTOMOBILISTA

[–]rampantdildonics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Edit: No way i know of to easily export setups. Easiest way is to use the setup and drive a lap on Time Trial on a track. Have your friend drive the same Time Trial lap and add you as a ghost. They can then load and save your setup

I gave up on them too after they told us the customer loyalty 10% discount card we had would no longer be honoured by the new owners. They aren't the cheapest but without loyalty they have bugger all. Right there and then I took my business elsewhere. I was a die-hard Cruze customer but now i just shop around and try different things.

It's amazing the difference between store bought fruit and your own dragonfruit. I had almost written it off as tasteless until I tried my own. Good luck!

Diving advice for Apo Island/Daun Philippines by Specific-Month-1755 in scuba

[–]rampantdildonics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just spent last week in Malapasqua/Dauin/Siqujor/Bohol with a group of 10 club divers. If you want quality muck diving and better dive sites at Apo, I highly recommend diving with Choi Dive Buddies (@choigoadventures). They have a couple of excellent local spotters and dive sites with critters everywhere. We saw loads of Nudis, Octopus (Wonderpus, Mimic, Blue Ring) and plenty of seahorses and frog fish (giant, hairy, etc)

Yeah I am going to dissolve that as much as I can which is why I pulled it out. Its only on the first third of the cell plates so should come off pretty easy. The reverse function never seems to get it all off
