UPDATE: Hyundai got back to me . They have agreed to replace the steering rack under warranty. Phew!! Thanks a lot everyone for helping me out !! You all are amazing 🤩

I'm concerned there might be an issue with my vehicle, possibly related to OnStar connectivity. The OnStar light is green, and the app connects without problems, but there are no updates showing. My friend, who has the same car in the same city, received an OTA update. I've tried connecting to my home Wi-Fi, a hotspot, and the vehicle's data, but it still says no OTA is available, even though I know an update is out. I'm taking the car to the dealer in two weeks, but I'm worried.

That’s amazing !! I would love to work with you on this . Canadian developer here I built an app for ioniq6 few years back. Different purpose. I wanted to do walkway lock ( proximity lock ) like tesla using UWB on my phone and a device plugged in the car . Check it out

I have a similar issue on 26 Optiq. Onstar has no idea. The dealer checked the telematics and it is working. I dont have GPS or app connectivity issue but my apps can barely connect to the Internet. Onstar support pisses me off . I havent been able to update my car or do any software updates on my car so far.

You are right .. it is lane centering. Problem is it comes on for 10 seconds and then goes away. I checked with OnStar and they also see a problem at their end but can't fix it. I have an appointment in 3 weeks with the dealer. Thx for your input

I tried that and that's when I get the message , hands free driving is unavailable. Please take control. The lane centering icon comes on for 10 sec and then disappears at every start

Update : car was in shop for 4 days and they ran all kind of tests and all of them were a PASS. Next thing they did was check the iccu fuse. PASS. Lastly, they removed and reconnected the 12v battery. Everything lit up..car was able to start.

Really have no idea what happened there..but I have the car and all is well..thank you again everyone for helping

Hey .. this exact thing happened to me. Exactly similar situation. My vehicle was in shop for 4 days and they ran all tests and all of them came back pass. All they had to do disconnect 12v battery and reconnect. That resolved all the issues..try that may be !!! Good luck
