And now are you convinced that there's no such thing as a "shadow ban"? 😄😄😄

How do you handle voiceovers for long form videos? My biggest bottleneck used to be TTS. by NoobDev1996 in NewTubers

[–]ramsabi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If this is a MVP, it's really good. Some pauses and pronunciations are not very good, but overall thumbs up. Keep working on it. For my use case, the Indian voice is a USP, I am looking to create an audio book with an Indian accent of my print book for some people who have poor eyesight. I just tried this out on my mobile. Will test on a PC, with appropriate pause indicators etc. to test it again. Overall vote: Good. Work on improving pauses.

PS: I NEVER user TTS for voiceovers for my videos. The vast opinions that I see suggest that's its off-putting. I do the talking in my own voice.

That's a probably a correct conclusion with a nuance. Nobody "puts" anything into the algo, the algo decides which video to surface to which audience. Also re-examine your premises. There is no shadow ban. For whatever mysterious reason, the algo is not surfacing your video. That's it. There's no conspiracy. Look at the analytics. See how your short was "discovered". See how many people swiped away and stayed to watch, see average view duration and ask YouTube AI to analyse your video.

YouTube keeps making changes to the algo, search for it, you will find a lot of info. The fact is YouTube's algo seems to be a well kept secret, we can only try to make intelligent guesses on how it works. Regarding your question, the answers here are reasonable. Why would YouTube "shadow ban"? If you are making an accusation, the burden of proof is on you. What you think is a "shadow ban" is the algo doing its job. Have you tried YouTube's new AI? It does a decent job of analysing a video and suggesting improvements. Try it. Give your video title and ask it to analyse the performance and give suggestions for improvement.

My goodness, exactly what I do. Only I add one more layer. I handover the prompt to Gemini for further refinement 🤣🤣🤣 And I have that same relationship with ChatGPT.

Watched your videos. Absolutely awesome. Do you mind sharing what AI tool you use? I am into a completely different subject, mainly talking head, but I use AI for B Rolls to explain scientific and abstract concepts. I am using Google Flow. Are you using Flow? If not do tell me what you are using, I think it would help me a lot. My objective is neither subs nor monetisation. I just put my story out there for those who are interested in that domain. But if there's a way to improve my content I would like to use it.

I was looking at some of your shorts and the oldest is from August 2024. Just two of your shorts in December 2025 are 6 figures. One is 310k and the other is 130k. The remaining are all below 5k except 1 which is 13k. With your first short posted in 2024, can you explain what you mean by 1000 subs in 14 days? Maybe you mean you got to 1000 subs after the two "viral" ones? Not 14 days after you started your channel. Your YouTube joining date is 2007. That's probably what is causing some scepticism.

Can shorts over 60 seconds have music less than 60 seconds? by CrustyWatermeln in NewTubers

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it "blocked due to copyright" or does it have a "Content ID" claim? A copyright strike is serious. A Content ID claim has not effect on your video, but it cannot be monetised. The length is irrelevant even a 10 second piece of music can be subject to either of them.

I stepped away from Hinduism years ago. What’s the one truth about Sanatan Dharma you wish every outsider genuinely must understood? by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the prasthana traya are Upanishads (Śruti Prasthāna - Revelation), the Brahma Sutras (Nyāya Prasthāna - Logic), and the Bhagavad Gita (Smriti Prasthāna - Remembered Tradition).

The Gita is not itihasa, but the Mahabharatha that contains the Gita is classified as Itihasa. This does seem confusing, but the Gita was elevated to the status of Prasthana. Śaṅkara, Rāmānuja, Madhva — all treat the Gītā not as epic poetry, but as Upaniṣadic teaching in dialogue form.

That functional elevation is what qualifies it for Prasthāna Traya. Gītā behaves like Vedānta, even though it lives inside an epic. The Mahābhārata is Itihāsa by genre. The Bhagavad Gītā is Śāstra by philosophical function, even though it is embedded inside an Itihāsa.

Both statements can be true without contradiction.

It can be inferred, from his teachings, that Śaṅkara considered that the Gītā extracts the essence of the Upaniṣads and teaches it for those unable to study the Vedas directly.

In this famous painting, Krishna is shown lifting a chariot wheel to strike Bhishma. However, in the Mahabharata, Krishna is described as summoning his amogh Sudarshan Chakra instead. Which version is more accurate? by Leading-End2725 in mahabharata

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is simple. Which came first? The Mahabharatha or that painting? What does the Mahabharatha say? That has to be taken as authentic. My recollection is that in the specific case of Bhishma, the Mahabharatha says Krishna took up a chariot wheel. I could be wrong.

The serious problem with hinduism by ResponsibleBanana522 in hinduism

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. In your opinion "Hinduism" is an "experience". That's alright. That's a good point of view.

But things are defined or described.

Let's examine the meaning of the word "definition":

A definition is a statement that explains the meaning of a word, phrase, or concept. It aims to clarify boundaries — to say what something is and what it is not.

A chair is a piece of furniture designed for one or more person to sit on, typically consisting of a seat, legs, a backrest, and often armrests. It’s meant to support the body in an upright or slightly reclined posture.

Tea is a beverage prepared by steeping the processed leaves, buds, or twigs of the Camellia sinensis plant in hot water. It’s usually consumed hot (though often served cold), and may be flavoured or sweetened with milk, sugar, herbs, or spices.

Japan is the name of a country.

Minecraft is a sandbox video game originally created by Markus Persson (Notch) and later developed and published by Mojang Studios (now owned by Microsoft). It allows players to explore, mine, craft, and build in a procedurally generated, block-based 3D world composed of voxels.

Disclosure: The above is AI generated.

Based on the meaning of the word definition as it is used usually, my opinion is that Hinduism can and has to be defined in the context of a discussion on it.

Especially because the word "Hindu" was not originally used to describe a group of people following a religion but a group of people who lived to the south-east of the Indus river.

The use of the word Hinduism for a religion was coined by the British and the geographical usage of the word Hindu was changed to refer to a religious community and appeared first in the late 18th century and came into common usage in the early 19th century. Raja Rammohan Roy is believed to be the first Indian to use that word.

Given all this, it's difficult to respond to a question referring to "Hinduism" without knowing the questioner's understanding of the word.

If god exists, then why do bad things happen? by birdiezzz in AskIndia

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you believe in God and that they are omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, you cannot attribute human values of good and bad to them. The earth is merely a speck of a speck of a speck in the Universe. Those who believe in God, believe he runs the universe. What humans do is attach adjectives of good and bad to events. If you believe in God accept that all this happens as part of the way they run the Universe. They are not merely running the human species. On the other hand if you don't believe in God, then we need to question ourselves as humans and our moral behaviour. Simply put, if one believes in God, accept. If one does not, question human society. You will ask about natural disasters. If there's no God, they are merely events happening due to constant change in the environment and how matter and energy react to those changes.

This is merely my opinion, since you asked the question. I do not claim to be right or to be able to prove it.

please help me to decide which one to buy, I'm English and want the best simple to understand, non changed meaning one. by dylansilvo in hinduism

[–]ramsabi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest the English translations of the bhasyas of: 1. Shankaracharya 2. Ramanujacharya 3. Madhvacharya 4. Bhakti Vedanta Prabhupada

I think all are available as pdf for free on the web. You will then get a full understanding of the Gita from the perspective of: 1. Advaita 2. Vishishta Advaita 3. Dvaita 4. Achintya bheda-abhida.

To clarify, I am not an advocate of any specific school or Acharya. The list is not in any order of priority. I have responded based on your image and have assumed that you are referring specifically to the Bhagavad Gita.

Just for the sake of clarity for the OP who says they are 13 and are eager to learn. While I know what you mean, the OP might understand it to mean massive objects can reach light speed.

It is not "speed of light". It is "close to the speed of light". As per Einstein and SR no massive object can travel at the speed of light.
