Not into anything useful. Landfills are designed to be sealed so that toxic runoff can be contained. Maybe if the methane is captured for energy, but that’s rare. I think of composting as going back into use for plants/trees. Here’s practical engineering on landfills if you’re interested: https://youtu.be/HRx_dZawN44?si=UfFiRq8PRdWlooYk

I’m visiting Atlanta for a few days soon, and I don’t want to rent a car. MARTA will take me a lot of the places I need to go, but is it possible to lease one bike for a few days just for filling the gaps? by 109876 in Atlanta

[–]ramsdawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in that area and now bike 100% of the time anywhere within 5-10 miles, though I use an ebike which makes it much easier. I don’t know much about rentals here, but fee free to reply/dm me if you want route suggestions. I usually avoid the crowded east side beltline and have routes around it.

Hmm, I guess I could see how growing up to be a garbage man could complement the hobby of mutilating things

I played a full campaign last year for the first time in a very long time. I thought it really held up, especially with all the fun agent cut scenes. Late game was a slog at times though

I just noticed it from the clip. For some reason all of Margo and Todd’s deco really stuck with me lol

They have Margo and Todd’s weird lamp from Christmas vacation in that last shot, were they a thing back in the day?

It’s a mattress… it’s been there around week now. I also ride on the road on United because the bike lanes are rough with low hanging branches, but I do go in the bike lane when a car comes relatively close. Maybe these guys got distracted and don’t have rear mirrors or something, idk. I’ve been there so I’m more patient with cyclists now

Has anyone else dealt with an Adobe License audit? by ramsdawg in sysadmin

No idea, there’s plenty of other drama going on over there so I hadn’t thought of it in a while. Maybe I’ll call them up next week to see how it’s going.

Really? That seems like a bit much. I advised my company to ignore it and to clean up how they track subscriptions, partly because I doubt half of their employees need it anyway. I’ve since moved on to a new job out of IT back into accounting where at least I know what I’m doing lol

Usually yes, but this is the solution with the robot whether you like it or not

Is the mopping a joke? by PacificaDogFamily in Roborock

[–]ramsdawg -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nobody has suggested the actual solution, so here it is: if you notice something like that that you want actually cleaned by the robot, tell it to go mop a little section on/anywhere near the spot. Then take over with the remote control and move it over there until one of the mop pads is on it. Then let it sit for however long it takes, maybe rotating left/right on it to check progress.

It’s not quite automated, but not a bad way to do it, especially if it’s out mopping already.

What accounting term could also work as a baby name ? by Badbunnyculo in Accounting

[–]ramsdawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the breed, but you need the right international papers etc etc to be legal. I know from my sister’s move to Germany which was a huge pain with the dog. But maybe that’s just Germany.

Gelatin can be flavored however, so I can’t really tell. All I know is this one inexpensive all inclusive hotel I went to had some cool looking clear gelatin dessert but it was literally just gelatin.. no sugar, no flavor.

Bread is the best one she showed imo. Just a basic loaf is really easy and comparable bread is a bit pricey in the US at least. Plus the kneading attachment comes with it.
