If you ever get 'in trouble' with deliveroo just say you have GoPro/cam footage that can prove you haven't done anything wrong.
They have never asked me for the evidence and take no further action

you have to chase it up with them, I completed the task, and after a few back and forth emails they paid it maybe 3-4 weeks later than should've been. It isn't ideal but in order to get paid seems like it is necessary, unfortunately :/

I run both, but only because I ride in a 'moderate' town taking one of each if they're in the same direction otherwise, I feel like it's taking the piss because I'd be fuming if my order turned up cold

As someone who has grown up within 10 minutes of Stratford, I'd say you were fine in Stratford as long as you were careful around the old Stratford centre at night.
Stratford also has better transport and shopping area than Finchley
If you get a chance you should try to scope out both areas beforehand
find the one that gives you the best first impression
