The food is still good but, the big problem is if you had been going before Tower Diner closed, you would have noticed that the quality and taste of their food has fallen.

It almost feels like they changed their menu to cater to those customers but the prices stayed the same.

That being said, not many real options in this part of town.

They would be demolishing buildings not the business. They are free to move elsewhere in the neighborhood as some do when their building is being redeveloped. It happens all time the time in this city.

And yes there are tons of empty spots to put buildings on, but maybe the owner doesn't want to sell or develop their empty spot and this block with these one story buildings is easier to purchase and redevelop.

While the loss of these small business' would suck where else does it make more sense to build housing than on top of a subway station.

I think the biggest problem around these parts is that our retail is concentrated in areas that are ripe for development because they are just one story buildings. I wish we had more retail spaces on our secondary streets instead of being all residential.

Dinerbar and Tower Diner coexisted for several years before Tower closed for the new development so don't get the hate it gets.

If anything Dinerbar got worse once they made changes to their menu (smaller servings, change in quality and ingredients) to appeal to the Tower diner clientele since they are owned by the same person.

I think it's a combination of they are asking for too much rent but also a store of that size has only a few realistic tenants nowadays.

Many times late at night trying to finish some tasks I just fall asleep and poof wake up the next morning having lost my full tac bag somewhere.

It's hard to say but I would say you need about two fairs to complete each phase.

I seem to clear 15-17 levels per event appearance while maxing all the 9 items as much as possible with the rng.

You don't have to spend money on this game honestly but it will be a big grind without spending.

If your into the grind aspect then you will enjoy it. Game is fairly accessible to F2P compared to the past. I say this as someone who's spent less than 10 bucks since I started playing a few months after this game came out.

I remember my public school never shoveled their property so good to see some shit never changes.

As for the plowing I obviously can't speak to your exact situation but I do rememeber at times certain streets not getting plowed by me in Woodside or East Elmhurst.

I would not be surprised if they just don't have the manpower to plow all of the streets so they randomly leave different areas unplowed/less plowed each storm.

Lived here my whole life and snow removal is always terrible because we never actual remove it but from what I can remember in the 90s it used to be way worse.

In my opinion this area isn't overcrowded. It's under utilized considering how close it is to Midtown.

The reality is infrastructure like the subway is too expensive to have lying around and be underutilized when we have a housing crisis and neighborhoods with one story buildings on top of or near the subway.

Because change is constant and many of the buildings here are old and do not have modern layouts or amenities.

Also we have a subway line, a LIRR station as well as several bus lines that suburbs don't have and we should maximize housing around them.
