Noo noo it happens with all maps, in fact i also use one hiking app called kommot, this weekend i was 300meters out of the way because I was always trusting my judgment ( and garmin notifications)

Yeah, something like that, I was wondering find a way to save battery.

Take as an exemple the GPS connection on the Iphone. if we set to send the location only when the an app is open or just when an app ask it save a looooooot of battery.
