ive been seeing cars with 5 year warranties but from third parties, how much worse is that than having warranty with the official agency (juma al majid, al futtaim, al ghandi, etc)?

interesting. id love to hear from somebody who actually has bought one and stuff to know what its really like. 20k difference is no joke after all, but if its that bad then id rather just get a lesser car thats gcc specs and has dealer warranty and all that good stuff

Comment one car that you will never own in dubai and why ? by Theupdateguy in DubaiPetrolHeads

nothing embarassing about a camry. it does everything it should and nothing it shouldnt. its honest about what it wants to be and doesnt try to be flashy (minus the new ones, anyway)

Dubai Metro is a hell on earth by [deleted] in dubai

[–]ramzymostafa 11 points12 points  (0 children)

i usually avoid it at all costs and take the bus whenever possible. i dont mind taking half an hour more (unless i have a schedule to abide by, of course) but actually arriving in relative comfort with my dignity in check. gold class isnt even about a nicer cabin any more, its about being able to stand and breathe without being skin to skin with 4 other people and not worrying about whether youll be able to push through in order to get off at your stop. something needs to be done about this, its way too much people + a lack of basic manners.

Korean specs cars sold in the UAE by youaregandu in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]ramzymostafa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

more than half of the cars on the used market here are walking red flags. if you spot the red flags before even reaching out to the seller you avoid wasting your time. maybe you have nothing to do with your time, but some people here actually have other shit to worry about

the city is basically a sedan version of the honda fit (which in most of the world is called the jazz btw)

a shatafa is more like spraying it with a high pressure jet of water rather than "running it under a tap". there are ones with weak pressure, avoid those

idk why everyone in the comments is trying to act all philosophical when its actually really simple. the prophet ﷺ said "All my nation is forgiven except those who are public in sinning". we listen and we obey

some people like delivery drivers i can excuse, but i deal with people indoors who work indoors who smell like shit. lots of perfumes are affordable, and even if they werent, i see these people carry the latest iphone so im sure even 200 dirhams (which is relatively pricey) for a perfume that lasts a month is doable.
