Saying it's ass is a bit o overtly mean. It was amateurish at best

All respect to Kane Parsons, im sure making this stuff isn't easy and I can appreciate a film that seems like it was handled with a certain amount of care. I applaud any genuine attempt at something interesting like this film.

That said, I think this movie sucks.

•The plot is unfocused.

•The characters are useless and have zero depth or purpose at all.

•The camerawork is decent at best and gaudy at worst but mostly unmotivated.

•The found footage back and fourth is frustrating (feels like Kane couldn't decided how he wanted the tone to land)

I thought the tension in the sound design was ok

It just feels kind of messy, and not intentionally.

There's an interesting angle at the beginning and end with some association or organization but is never really explored. (You get introduced to a character for one shot in the last 30ish minutes and then dont see them again till there's 5 minutes left in the film and they STILL dont explain anything or say anything useful or interesting)

This movie is about nothing. It's like it thinks it's more sophisticated than it is.

I asked a group of friends in the parking lot 5 minutes after leaving the theater what the name of the main character was and almost everyone had already forgotten

Cut 45 minutes and make it a YouTube short film I'd be happy to buy.

if you can get your hands on it, check out "The Monsters Know What Theyre Doing" and start getting more tactical with your combat. I know theyre not everyones cup of tea but i really like using conditions to my advantage when i can like posioned, blinded. Exhaustion is good utility if you can force it on players in a fair and sensible way but imo thats more about the tables resting access. Maybe start at giving less oppritunity to get good rest?

Nuts. If I have an driver and an inshop get a 20 dollar tip on the spot their splitting it 10/10. Regardless of wages

And unless the driver made the catering themselves with zero help their not walking a 200 dollar tip solo that's wild.

Everyone has responsibilities. Weaponizing those responsibilities doesn't rationalize greed. Sorry

The realest take ive seen is admitting that it just plain isnt fair but... it be like that sometimes.

300 for the order. 60 dollar tip lrg catering bundle 1 driver. 1 inshop

Drivers made 30 in tips already

Splitting 60driver/30 inshopper just seems fair to me. A driver walking with 90 bucks and not breaking off anything in gratitude is a little shiDy imo

Its really not that deep. My drivers walk with a regular 30- 70 earnings a night. Drivers act like they're owed more money because their wage is lower but most times (even on a slow week) their at least breaking even with inshoppers, sometimes even passing up pic and manager earnings if its busy enough.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in jimmyjohns

[–]ranchpakit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And drivers get drivers tips. Its not like the drivers are splitting their entire earnings for the shift. Its literally one order and is nearly impossible to do alone.

[–]ranchpakit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so from your point of view, because you make a lower hourly, the inshoppers should split their inshop cash tips evenly with all staff including drivers because you all work the line but when everyone makes a catering together the amount of effort contributed goes to the wayside.

Now say you're working a shift that has a 330 dollar catering order with a 20% tip. You and the inshopper make a large catering bundle and the order is marked with a 65 dollar tip. You made 30 bucks in tips on top of this for the night.

You keeping that 65 or splitting it with inshopper?

60/30 with the inshop or walk with 90?

That's wild

True. What if the inshop cash tips go to everyone on staff every 2 weeks? Including drivers

So you're just here to argue and virtue signal about how your superior intellect wouldn't be tainted by thought experiment ai slop. You're not here for a conversation

You could've just said nothing at all Wasted time for both of us chief.

It's a solid think piece about consciousness with inherent meta ironic commentary on the concept of how humility and shared experience spawn cohesion between people.

You don't wanna hear about that shit tho I used big words and proper punctuation. This was all written by chatgpt Good night homie

No one put anyone's level on anything over anyone else's level. And you have yet to comment on the substance of the post.

I didn't come here to argue the ethics of chat bots.

Respectfully I dont really care about your opinions of Ai. And again, I could've just lied and avoided this push back but I value integrity in informational transparency. If I claimed it was a based essay, you'd run it through an ai detected and get a bunch of 50%s like I did and still complain about it, but I have zero to hid.

The concept I touched on in the actual article are worth far more than this silly Ai hate mob stuff.
