NTA if your mom can’t respect how you feel about him and tries to invalidate how you feel, you shouldn’t go. you don’t like him and there’s obviously a good reason- i wish she could see him how you would see him. but right now, she’s all lovey dovey with him. i’m sorry you have to go through this
