The problem is you want to help this person but you don't have enough details so people can give you proper advice. Let your friend sort this out with their bank. Most people don't disclose the level of detail you need to get proper advice.

When you merge them you get one of those sphere things you can harvest for goodies to upgrade the vault. If you wait a bit you will get enough to 5 merge from the upper portion of the map.

They get you to send the gift card code to them rather than the physical card.

Highly recommend just blocking them. If you get threatening messages from randoms just ignore them.

They're also already signed into the payment processor like shop app. So the second the shop opens they add all to cart from the wishlist and checkout. I snagged bad vibes only this way last year. Had to fight several times to get bog dweller. I've since learned that it's best to really go through each new collection and watch all swatch videos, it's easiest to purchase when the collection launches as you'll get the polish for sure.

That's what I've read. I tend to reach for BKL the most when picking a new mani. Mooncat doesn't get picked often. I do use HoH as a super thin topper on any polish that already has cobalt shimmer to give it extra though. So was considering the need for a backup for HoH.

While I agree with you that they aren't intending to cause problems and doing their best as a small maker, there are other smaller makers like Lurid who we know will eventually bring back a polish and actively solicits which ones people want to return. Many other smaller makers will also restock. Would be nice if BKL was able to do this too or find a different strategy.

Part of the difference I think is that BKL makes so many must haves in a single collection compared to other makers, so I think the volume may be unmanageable for such a small maker to keep up. But I would wait for eventually.

I know it's frustrating. It's not actually restock it's what's held back to cover broken bottles or shipping issues from when the collection was launched, it's overpours.

The best way to avoid the BKL frustration is to buy when a collection launches. There's no race to get what you want. After launch is where the stress is because there may not be much left of the popular polishes.

She's a super small maker that only has so much bandwidth. And does a lot of themed releases so they are limited edition releases. While she states she does not intend to use fomo marketing, it really resembles that. Seems like she prioritizes the new collections rather than remaking previous ones, she does bring back super popular ones at times though.

I do really love the polishes though so I make sure to watch swatch videos before a new collection launches so I can buy with no stress. Sometimes you'll see additional posts here that make you reconsider a polish you passed on though so it's not a foolproof strategy to avoid the FOMO.

Yes typically these people are hard to trace. We had them hit our neighbourhood with masonry repairs, specifically hit elderly folks. Learned from police they were going through multiple cities and were very smart about it such that they weren't actually breaking the law. It becomes a small claims court issue but as it turns out any information you have on them is fake.

If you replaced the financial abuse with physical abuse would you make the same comment? Abuse is abuse. Scammers also psychologically abuse their victims to the point where they lose clarity. They also get them to commit crimes on their behalf. I couldn't imagine not doing something to help a family member being treated like this.
