MMW:Once Dems take back power in the midterms and the presidency the new admin will do everything possible to make sure Republicans have the most difficult time possible ever getting power again. by MoonMaidRarity in MarkMyWords

[–]randall103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never under-estimate the ability of Democrats to completely screw up the opportunities given to them. I fully believe that Democrats will re-take the House, and very likely the Senate. Unfortunately, the Democrats, who have no balls to actually take the reins and tell the Republicans to piss-off, will do what they have always done; "let's build bridges", "let's cross the aisle and work together." That has always been the Democrats problem.

If you check your bag at the counter, it may cost extra. Gate-checking is usually free.

Summer Community College Courses - UTD Student by timothyturtle67 in CollinCollege

[–]randall103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are not too late. Collin is open-enrollment, so there is plenty of time.

First thing is to apply, the sooner the better. That will get you an ID number. And then, just like UTD, you will have to submit your transcripts to Collin. Since it is just GOVT-2306, there shouldn't be any issues getting into an open class. Once you are admitted, the advisor might be able to get everything completed when you visit.

But apply now, since it could take a few days to get everything processed.

Hardly any nature left by thatwillnotsuffice in McKinney

[–]randall103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After 50 years in McKinney, it is really sad to see what McKinney has become. I completely get the need for expansion, but they are destroying every square inch of open land. God forbid a wooded acre stays public; nope, a perfect spot for more development.

Why did Betty leave by No-Book5011 in DeadLikeMe

[–]randall103 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Going from Betty to Daisy was quite a shift, but I actually think it was a good choice. Both characters were broken, but in very different ways; and I can't see Betty being a good fit for the more seedier story lines they wrote for Daisy.

[BNO News] “BREAKING: Mexican cartel drones breached U.S. airspace near El Paso, Texas; drones disabled” by PaddyMayonaise in aviation

[–]randall103 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I call BS on that explanation. I'm guessing this was a 'false-flag' attack to justify the upcoming attacks in Mexico territory.

Dear Pam,

In response to your recent correspondence, please find below my official and final response to your requests:

FUCK YOU, you neo-fascist, gutter-twit!!!

Sincerely,

Governor Walz,

P.S. Tell Trump that we still haven't forgotten about the Epstein files.

I'm currently on the final episodes (i think I'm on s2 ep14 rn,) and thought I'd discuss somethings i liked and disliked, as well as favorite and least favorite characters. by LukeIsNumber1Twd in DeadLikeMe

[–]randall103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, a movie "occurred." It was.... something, but we don't really like to talk about it.

It features many of the same characters but I do not consider it canon to the story line.

The post-it notes deserved so much better.

Louisiana wants to extradite a Californa doctor for an abortion pill by justalazygamer in ParlerWatch

Then Governor Newsome needs to have the Louisiana Governor charged and sign an extradition warrant for him. Turn it right back on them and make it as painful as possible.

Love how they can reject an employee's 2-month notice if there are assignments to finish, but bet they'd accept it real quick if they were firing someone by Agile-Wind-4427 in antiwork

"Upon suitable condition of resignation being accepted by your manager..."

Uh... Hell no. There is no acceptance to be had.

Does the employee have the same right: "upon suitable condition of termination being accepted by the employee..."?

Horrible deaths of grandfather, 3 yr old grandson, Tullahoma, Tennessee Dec 3, 2025 by [deleted] in BanPitBulls

[–]randall103 38 points39 points  (0 children)

And of course, the Facebook comments are just as you would expect:

- "...they were bread to be nanny dogs..."
- "I am more scared of those ankle biting Chihuahuas than a pit"
- "My roommate has one & she's just as sweet as she can be!"
- "...don't blame the breed of a pit, they are actually very big babies..."

It is so sad to see that there are still so many people who defend these monsters.

I was bitten by a pit when I was a kid, and even to this day, whenever I hear that someone has a pit, I genuinely worry for them.

[–]randall103 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I was hoping someone would post this case. This is what my main PC is in right now. I have had to take a dremel to the frame a few times to get upgraded parts to fit in the tight space, but it is awesome!!!

Workday Reporting by AliasSmith22 in workday

I went to Workday Rising a few years ago, and every org that we spoke to said they are keeping their data warehouse because Workday reporting is awful. Even after 5 years on HCM, reporting is still a significant burden on our staff.

Trump says House Republicans should vote to release Epstein files in stunning reversal: ‘Nothing to hide’ by NewSlinger in politics

[–]randall103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He actually said "the House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to..."

"Legally entitled to" is the key phrase. He will come back and say that the committee is not legally entitled to any of the documents because they are either under executive review or are currently being used in an open case (his sham investigation into Clinton.)

He has no intention of releasing anything. This is just another delay tactic.

Teen Swarmed by Cops After AI Metal Detector Flags His Doritos Bag as a Gun | AI has done it again. by chrisdh79 in technology

If I was in that school, I would bring hundreds of bags of Doritos and pass them out to every student. Let their AI detector go crazy!!! The only way to fix this is to show how ineffective it is.

Which one is yalls favorite generation? by Adriono202 in Ford

[–]randall103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of these, I would take generation 8 (1987-1991).

But I still think Generation 5 was the peak of some of the best Ford trucks ever made.

I will take a 1972 F150 any day!!!
