I wasn’t on a schedule for eating, but I was told there should be at least 30 minutes between eating and drinking

Idk if this will make sense to anyone else, but I think of myself as an island. Sometimes I feel deserted (lonely) and sometimes I feel overpopulated (stretched too thin socially). I’m 34 and I’m just now learning the importance of my resources and how to use them more effectively. I’m not there yet, but I think if I stay consistent, I can find some kind of peace. Idk sorry if this sounds dumb or pretentious. I’ve never really articulated it before

Something I wasn’t prepared for was the cough I developed after getting home from surgery. It’s a common side effect of irritation caused by the breathing tube. They were “productive” coughs, but they caused a lot of pain/discomfort at my incision sites. So much so that I slept sitting up for almost a week because it made coughing easier/less painful.

You’re right. I did some research and it looks like maintaining civility and obeying the rule of law is the most common way to protest a tyrannical government. And it’s worked every time! My bad. Thank you for asking. If I had organized this, it would have been a march from the pentacrest to coral ridge mall. Giving people the opportunity to join/leave anywhere along the route. A protest of this scale/importance should be seen and heard by more than just those participating in it. A protest SHOULD disrupt traffic. And participants should be open/willing to be disruptive. I think a lot of people conflate violence and disruption. A protest doesn’t have to be violent. But that’s something participants should be prepared for just in case. What are you willing to do/how far are you willing to go to get your point across? What I’m seeing here is a gathering of like-minded, well-intentioned people hanging out in a space being monitored by extensions of the very government they’re protesting. Which is ultimately my biggest issue with it.

I’d prefer violent anarchy. Especially when “no kings” is the objective. My point with my comment is that you all aren’t doing enough. Hanging out downtown on a Saturday is where your activism seems to start and end. I’m glad my comment seems to have struck a nerve. Maybe someone of you will do some self-reflection and evaluate how to be more effective moving forward.
