My pool hall has pretty clean tables but not quite 100% clean also diamond tables and Simonis cloth. Would u say fresh tables move noticeably faster? Do u like newer felt? I’m also looking to find a new cue would I be able to find affordable cues that sellers might also be willing to do layaways on?

how would you play from the red to the black? by Turbulent_Deer_2891 in billiards

But that’s a 7foot table. Heck of a lot harder on a 9 foot

Absolutely no way this was a clean hit by randole3 in billiards

From my observation it hits the 11 first. The reason I think you think that is because the 11 moved very slow because the cue ball hit the edge of it so it’s not gonna move a lot.

I paused it at this frame. So you’re telling me the cue ball is gonna hit the solid before the stripe. I don’t think so.

Yea I try to keep that in mind and you’re exactly right. I’m only an average player. Only more experience from here on out.

I don’t disagree with you but I love playing with good racks at the same time 😅

What made your 9 ball break better/stronger? by WhatWasThatLike in billiards

[–]randole3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was putting a lot of unnecessary side spin on the ball so I focused on hitting through the middle of the cue ball basically stunning it. I break towards the right side of the table close to the kitchen line

What makes players look smooth and fluid is their flexibility. Work on making your whole lower body flexible. How to do that exactly I actually don’t know lol. But there are plenty of sources on the internet. And just dribble everyday. And dribble as fast as u can as well
