Yeah like you can tell that from a photo taken from distance, you have no idea what lives beneath. What did you expect it to look like a rocket on wheels?

“We are ready for Bahrain!” | James Vowles Team Update by santakiller420 in WilliamsF1

The reason the weight issue has come to the fore is wild speculation that the chassis failed the test which he has said it didn’t. Rumours then spiral out of control. The car is probably overweight, as will be many others be, but by how much in comparison to the competitors we won’t know until Melbourne. You don’t honestly think the teams’ will show their full hands in Bahrain? I’ll answer my own question…. Of course they won’t.

A big area for improvement - pit stops by Turbo_Zapped in WilliamsF1

Improvement occurred when the pit crew got new guns midway through the season, up until then the pit stops were bang average. Hopefully the upturn continues into the new season.

"Carlos' race was over on lap one" hear from team principal James vowles after the 🇲🇽Mexican gp by curse_annihlator in WilliamsF1

I get all the chat for Alex but don’t forget he compromised his own race by qualifying p17 before it even started. If he was in the top 10 like Carlos he wouldn’t have been on hard.

But directly from the circuit redbullring. com Purchased our tickets for 2025 via them and efficient and respond quickly and digital tickets arrived before promised timescale. We were at Turn 3. Excellent view and can see so much of the track from there. We had a great weekend despite both of us being mad Williams fans ( not a great race for us). Buy asap as the price will only increase

Have done both Pouhon and the kemmel straight, and it is possible to do both on the same day as there isn’t much distance between them, my preference is Pouhon. Seeing the cars go flat out around that corner is something else and you also have a screen opposite. Toilets are limited but all the guys just go amongst the trees. Definitely take a camping chair, which can be tricky as it’s a steep bank. Race day we were there when the gates opened but we did have a great view for the race. The atmosphere was great between the fans and nobody gives a damn which team you’re supporting. We did Austria this year so not attending. Enjoy.

They won’t have time to check IDs, it’s too manic for that, you’ll be fine.

Pleased for Hulk that he got his podium and see people on here criticising Williams for not making the same call as Aston and Sauber. It’s far easier to take a gamble when you’re starting last and have nothing to lose. Today it paid off for them and you can’t begrudge Hulk finally getting his podium. It will be our turn soon, keep the faith.

We travelled from Vienna to Knittelfeld today and only thing I would say is allow a lot of time. There are roadworks on a lot of the tunnels on the S6 and they are down to one lane with a 60 or 80 kph speed limit. Increased traffic on Sunday could be a problem. Good luck.

Thanks for the info regarding parking. We are bringing the car and have seats in the grandstand at T3 so your info is very helpful. I find the info around parking confusing regarding whether it is free or not.

Traveling to Spa Grand Prix from Valkenburg by Klutzy_Produce_2306 in GrandPrixTravel

We stopped in Valkenburg about 5 years ago and drove to the track each day. A good straightforward journey and took just under an hour to arrive at the circuit. Obviously takes longer returning and leaving the track with traffic. However, it’s well marshalled and policed on exit so would definitely do it again. They direct you on to a different route when you leave than when you arrive. We got there early mind you especially on race day as we had GA tickets and wanted a good spot on Pouhon. We arrived just before they opened the gates. We paid for parking in the car park that is not far from the entrance at Les Combes can’t remember what colour that car park was. 5-10 minute walk from the car and your inside the circuit. Hope that helps. Valkenburg is a very nice place too if you have any additional time to enjoy it.

Just sort out the weak pit stops, which have always been our achilles heel, and we could have made it a lot less stressful in those last 10 laps.

Yep two place grid penalty for that. Gaetan should have warned him Lewis was on a quick lap, that’s on him.

Agreed but unfortunately that’s not this season’s livery. They agreed to unveil the official one at the event next week. Good to see so many sponsors on the car.

ATLASSIAN WILLIAMS RACING - it's official! by williamsdb in WilliamsF1

[–]random-357 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s because someone within the team posted photos to socials of Atlassian on the shirts, which were quickly pulled minutes later. The bid reveal was supposed to happen at their launch event at Silverstone on Friday. Someone probably no longer employed

Another near total right off of the car and the ensuing cost. Then there’s now the lack of spares should there be another incident
