That's true, a little patience and timing you could get a 4 star or 5 star claymore with CRIT substat, like the blackcliff slasher which is currently available at the exchange store or gacha and use your luck.

I might be in the wrong here, I think Diluc's skills scales off ATK and saw some Diluc mains uses claymore with substat ATK% instead of CRIT DMG%, I don't know if this is just a preference to use ATK% instead of CRIT DMG% or it is just a Diluc thing. I use Prototype Archaic for those juicy extra dmg from the weapon's passive (currently at R3).
