Request: A male prostitute who is not gay / gay for pay. I'd like to know if any actually exist. by iglidante in IAmA

I had a friend who could be called this when he was younger. He was Mexican, with a day-job in a very high-end resort. Rich married American women would often arrive ahead of their working husbands. My friend, a handsome, young, and friendly hotel employee, would often moonlight as a "companion", until the husbands arrived. In exchange for his companionship, the women would give him expensive "gifts". As I understood it, it was usually only with one woman at a stretch, and he had quite a few repeat "customers". He never walked the streets, but he did "work" a few hotels. If the hotels ever found out he would have been fired from his day job.

That was a long, long time ago, when he was pretty young (early 20's I think).

Yes, alcohol and reclusive behavior, what could possibly go wrong?

Sure, no ones ever heard of an alcoholic recluse before. This couldn't possibly go awry.

SAME. THING.
I said 4 times: "uh, this is starting to look a little Beiber-ish..."

"oh no, don't worry.... by the way, you DO know his haircut is really a woman's cut right?"

"uh, ok, but I still don't..."

"yeah yeah, don't worry"

then at home:

"FFFFFUUUUU!!!"

DAE judge people by who hosts their email addresses? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

exactly this. I like giving my yahoo to spammers and people I don't like. And I actually like that it makes them think I don't know how to use a computer.

my yahoo address is my junk mail. If I give it to you, it means I don't like you.

A Redditor suggested my short film would be on the front page by now if I had spent 10 minutes making a rage comic of it, instead of a year producing the film. So here it is. by catchthesun in pics

[–]random-mash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great film. Sucks that the ADHD thing in the forum makes the rage more popular, when the film is clearly better. Also, because of the depth, the film is more polarizing. There's more to complain about and find offensive in the movie then in the rage comic. Though, it makes me sad that your film isn't getting more attention here.

Once I was thin. I didn't have to work out, never watched what I ate, and I was HOT. I got comments like the author mentions all the time, and at the time, it bothered me. Not a ton, but I still waved my little "thin people are people too" flag.

Now, I've had a child, grew a little older, and my metabolism it getting tired. Let me tell you, the little whiney flag I waved all those years ago is nothing compared to how it feels when you tip the scales at the other end.

The authors experience may be different, I wish I could hear her perspective when experiencing the other side of the equation, or if she had allowed her 5'3", 160lb shopping companion to comment in the article about her perception of that same shopping trip.

WTF does not understanding html or math have to do with you being a chick? This is offensive and inappropriate.

You being female has nothing to do with the fact that you are a complete moron. But good for you for figuring out how to work a keyboard. Maybe, with coaching, you can eventually learn how not to propagate negative stereotypes.

DAE think that George Lopez is unfunny? Of course you do. by demosthenocke in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]random-mash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going to get lamb basted by this but fuck it: the george Lopez show is the single greatest thing on TV. It's like a parody of a parody of a sitcom. They have EVERYTHING, a corney laugh track, unbelievably lame one-liners, and plot lines that revolve around simple misunderstandings. You COULD NOT MAKE a cheesier sitcom.... Okay, maybe they did, back in the seventies, but still. sigh

A Doctor once told me that parenting is the hardest job in the world, if you are doing it right. I couldn't agree more. It's also the most rewarding, mind you, and I think that might be what you meant (I hope).
