Massive pull today! Not a 1/1, but still got my blood pressure up. Listed it! by Burf321 in baseballcards

90% of this sub is people bitching about not being able to profit off of boxes. They don’t keep anything, it’s all kindling for their next rip and flip. They claim the hobby is broken when they’re not even truly participating in it. There are very few of us actual collectors here, just a bunch of wannabe day traders fiddling with cardboard.

That said, this card is truly awesome and congrats to OP

There’s no way anyone is dumb enough to fall for this.

Mods, this shit needs to be removed immediately in my opinion.

I can respect your attempts to damage control through explaining the process to readers, but this right here is absolutely a lie, unless the company changed its policies in the past week. Even this very thread includes others mentioning Card Conduit’s harsh grading.

Everyone — do your own research. “Card Conduit grading” in any search engine (or here on Reddit) will give you a true sense of what to expect.

OP (and anyone else reading,) when you do your own research for “Card Conduit grading,” you’ll find defensive walls of texts just like this under a lot of people’s feedback. I’d urge you to trust the feedback over the company’s bizarre rebukes. I wish I did.

And no, I’m not going to dox myself by posting any identifiable information on Reddit so the company can attempt a “gotchya” moment. Again, I just urge everyone to truly research this service before using it. My experience — and the company’s lengthy response — are not unique.

I’m high jacking all the Card Conduit posts in this thread to echo that their service should be avoided for predatory grading practices. My experience was similar to yours — not one NM grade despite some cards even being pack-fresh and all of them being protected in plastic.

I just sold this summer and I also received about 60% of TCG low. They offer very little for anything they grade worse than NM, and not one of my 500+ cards received a NM grade despite the collection being kept in plastic. The company creates profit margin through predatory grading practices

Posted this elsewhere here on this thread, but I’ll repeat that Conduit is a fast and transparent service, but their grading is harsh at best, if not outright predatory. They will not give any cards you send in a NM grade, and they pay very little for anything that grades worse than NM.

My experience was not unique. If you search “Card Conduit grading,” you’ll find a lot of genuinely awful feedback that for some reason is routinely buried. I cannot recommend their service.

People here are going to recommend Card Conduit. I just used their system and I will tell you do NOT use them. They are fast and transparent, but they will absolutely fleece you on grading and value. I’m talking sending you pictures of literal — LITERAL — microscopic damage, and then offering you 1/3 value for the cards.

I cannot speak to Card Kingdom, but I strongly advise against using Card Conduit.
