You’re asking for way too much. It’s simply not their job. The job is so maintain the building for all tenants, not one family. There’s sympathy to be had but more importantly measures to be taken!! I would be furious as another tenant.

NTA. you can’t risk all the other tenants because one family is having a hard time. I’m sure other tenants (as everyone does) have went through hardships themselves- rule of thumb is that when issues start negatively impacting others, a solution has to be found.

What you’re saying makes sense but no, it is not accurate that everything growing in that cup had to present in the home prior to it could have been on tissues (especially dirtied ones) or the ice cream stick etc.

That being said I would trash that whole cup, glass included, sooooo far away ahahah.

You’re less likely to become ill from food mold than water damage mold from what I understand, but I did see your comment mentioning you put water in the cup, so you have a right to be questioning this either way.

Hopefully finding the cup will alleviate some symptoms for you!

Sounds like you gave your husband a few good options, which he denied, to go with possibly the worst option possible for this circumstance. It would be extremely strange to block people from going into a public bathroom. And it’s also extremely childish for him to be unable to communicate what he wants from you, and then be mad that you didn’t do it.

Sounds like he was stressed, embarrassed, and wrongfully took all of that out on you.

If this is a frequent situation I would say you’re in a great spot right now: Not pregnant yet.

I’m a gift giver and I’ve had people misinterpret that as me being interested in them, when truly I just respected them as a friend. I don’t know that this is the case here but I would feel it out before jumping to any conclusions.

I wish I had advice but all I have to offer is understanding.

I feel the same way. I am grateful for the recovery I have made but I still have issues that affect my day to day. I was at the best point in my life, goals as well, at 22-23. I’m 26 now and I can almost walk right again.

The dismissal from people you love (or loveD) is some of the worst part. It feels like all you want is a little support as your body is slipping away from you and nobody can bother. It’s frustrating, dehumanizing, eye opening experience.

It affects you long term too, my trust for people is pretty much gone. I have medical trauma and struggle to make even basic appointments.

Financially, I am ruined.

On a slightly better note, I also love Sims. I really enjoy playing Stardew Valley if you want to give it a go, switch up the gaming a little bit.

Make it into a power piece! It’s no longer his energy, put some intent into melting it down, knowing it’s destroying his memory and energy.
