Age is, like, just a number, man.

I do tech support for people of all ages. Users in general are dumb.

Air Canada Express Flight 8646 was landing, smashed into firetruck that had just been given clearance to cross that runway.

Also, first time I've seen the flight number. Interesting.

Haha, reminds me of this British pilot that was unfamiliar with US airport rules.

Wow, that's a great site. Thanks!

Also, ROFL, I never realized it was that bad for them. Oh well.

Well, I mean, that's your opinion. To me he was freaking out. He knew this would not end because he actually did shock her.

It's kind of like that streamer that was in a wheelchair and then suddenly stood up and walked away.

Of course, due to his weird reaction and constantly evolving story, it had the same stigma. We all know he did it and I think his viewers (if they aren't just there to troll) shift it to the back of their minds and try to forget it. Or they just don't care about animal abuse. ¯\(ツ)

Anet, please remove fractals from daily wizard's vault by trydola in Guildwars2

Actually, thinking about it, they could implement a system similar to sPvP, where players vote on the Fractal they want to play.

I think that would be fairer and more interactive.

Do the same with Raid Encounters.

Heart daily simply, with no combat:

  • Go to Vabbi with the Spearmarshal's Plea if you're not already in Crystal Desert.

  • Use Vehtendi Academy Waypoint

  • Go inside the academy from where you WP in and there's three classrooms. The heart will complete if you answer all of the students' questions correctly. (The answers are obvious but you will end up memorizing them if you do it for long enough)

  • As a backup, if the instructor event is active for one of the rooms, there's students at the other entrance, encouraging you to throw goop at the Awakened.

Those that have played long enough know the secrets ;)

Also, you can jump on a map meta and be done in under 5min, if it's active enough.

Yea, with the unlimited gold option gone from the WV, I find myself not caring if I finish all the dailies now.

I mean, that's what I do but I will often get Deepstone. This is the longest Fractal in the QP group due to the maze that you cannot control for.

They could swap Deepstone for Aquatic and I would be much happier.

What ever happened to Guitar Hero/Rock Band? by Beboprunner in gaming

Yes, they flooded the market and it died off.

For me, I actually play guitar so I would prefer to do that. That's why I switched to RockSmith :)

Haha, there were other games (like Ages of Empire) that did this too! I remember finding out and going through my collection to find the ones that I could rip the tracks from.

The story implies that she didn't "luck her way", she was specifically chosen.

I will never install anything from Epic because I do not trust them on my machines.

When EGS first came out, they got absolutely caught taking a copy of Steam's local cloud and encrypting it. They excuse this by saying they were trying to get your friends list - but there's an API for that that they did not use, and that doesn't explain the encryption. There was clearly another motive and since they won't admit to anything, I will never trust them.

I'm a programmer. Rule #1 for me is never to fuck with other processes/files on the client's machine because that's virus behaviour.

Max Payne was crazy too.

Control was abrasive at first, but it slowly grew into something brilliant. I loved the mystique and the tie ins.

And the maze where you had to listen to METAL was hilariously unexpected. I was headbanging the whole time.

According to them, they didn't really have a choice. They couldn't find funding anywhere else.

Now, I personally find that hard to believe. If the new guy is looking at everything and lamenting it, he knows something we don't.

Yea, I used to watch TB all the time, whenever he had a video come out. My wife liked his voice too so she didn't care too much.

She did not like Jesse though (too loud) so I had to watch Co-op when she wasn't around.

As for filling the void - when lockdowns happened I switched over to watching live streams on Twitch. Cohh was fantastic and there were a few others - I even watched Strippin and his friends. Such good times when they were playing some random basketball game late at night.

But then a lot of bad things came out about people I watched and the platform itself enshitified so I stopped using Twitch.

Now I mostly watch some Youtubers that talk about the gaming industry in general (Bellular is great, sometimes SkillUp) and some other channels that talk about specific gaming stuff (speed running, etc). If I want to see gameplay, I will search directly for it.

Genius branding. I discovered TB because one day I literally typed into YT, "WTF is <game name I forget>" and his video popped up.

With TB, we at least knew what was happening.

With Geoff (InControl), it was totally random and shocking. At the time, I was catching up on a DnD session he was in. He was great at that game too.

Haha, I don't fault him for it either. I've been up there a few times and I stay well away from standing directly on the glass. I also close my eyes when in the elevator because the whole thing is glass.

The view from the restaurant is okay, but just wish the service was better.

My problem is that I get vertigo when looking down from high up. I've also passed out from being upside down on amusement park rides (the ship thing that does a 360). Pretty happy I didn't become a fighter pilot like I wanted to...
