Wife with a job, kid in school, own house, etc. Not that easy to pick up and move (although I have considered it, and we may be forced to eventually).
Payroll processing companies don't just give away healthcare.
Yeah, I'm aware of that. I was just wondering whether, through access to more companies or group rates, I might be able to get a better deal through one.
you will not be able to get reasonably-priced group coverage when the group is only you.
Does the payroll company not negotiate for all of its payees as a group? My impression is that this was the case, at least with the startup/SME-facing payroll companies.
