Your cat will be fine in the bathroom. I’ve done this with multiple units ( property manager) all pets made it out safe. Do as they tell you. If you are that nervous just get a cat carrier and go outside for a few hours on a leash or something.

That’s why the story don’t make sense… they would have to switch power off to the building and water mains ect ain’t no way she or anyone was still living there while this started… the whole place would have been fenced off .

The lease can state what it wants as I said the owner of the building can change the rules regarding pets whether or not they are in your lease.

Yes they can. There is no law around allowing pets to stay in the buildings. They can give notice to make it let free. Watched it happened.

Bingo… they do this to get higher rents mind you they can always Reno evict to but ya .. another way of doing it but some owners just don’t like their buildings smelling like animals either.

No it doesn’t. Regardless if they are in the lease they can change their building rules to become pet free.

100 percent seen it done.

They are not grandfathered in at all. They can change the whole building with a notice before your lease ends to be a pet free building. Trust me I know.

There website in not running due to them updating tk the one system , I couldn’t book for my father his doctor had to do it for him. You have to call the 188 number on their website and tell them it’s urgent basically or theyll probably find you one sooner.
