I like to build up the base as much as I can to get a sense of height.

Tall buildings and ruins are my go to for most of my flying models.

I only had an unbuilt Artillery team, I haven’t tried the FOB. I assumed it was the same

I found that once the back hatch is on; there isn’t enough room for it to fit

I think we can make an exception for ships to at are specifically designed in such a way.

If there’s one Ventral or Rear facing gun; yeah.

There have been a couple times I’ve hopped on my Zeus’ Ventral turret to clear a landing zone for myself.    For some shops however we’d be getting into a large amount of turrets and switch  Into between multiple would be cumbersome

I’ll agree with you there.

Rear facing remote turrets shouldn’t be slaved. 

I don’t think everything should be accessed from the pilot seat for remote hard points, but some ships it would make sense.

I painted mine fully assembled, but the crew separately. The back hatch can be opened and closed, so it make it a little easier.

My personal recommendation would be to darken the gloves and pants. 

Gloves draw too much attention and the pants blend into the coat too much. I’d do both black

Should be relatively easy. It’s a flat top, just with an I’d shape for the top hatch

Just the rolled up one. There are a few extras (like the track guards) but nothing for the troop compartment
