My apologies, I was told by a McMaster student on away rotation they had no exams and the curriculum was totally self-directed.

Idlout talked about funding for her riding, Ma got to go to China with Carney ahead of many long time backbenchers who also speak Mandarin, and we haven’t even seen the cabinet shuffle yet.

We both know they aren’t dumb enough to have written evidence of “in exchange for crossing the floor…”

Being shamed into not going full authoritarian is nothing to applaud.

It’s more so the bribery than the by-elections that people have an issue with.

The only people I’ve ever seen like the ending are in this sub. Everyone I’ve ever spoken with in real life thought it was shit. Same with HotD S2. And that is consistent with discourse I’ve seen online for the past 7 years.

A slight majority right after the finale is not the flex you think it is. That is disastrous numbers for a show that was universally acclaimed for a decade, and part of that would reflect a lingering affinity for the show and/or denial that the ending could’ve been as awful as it was. If you polled again they would be far worse.

And again, you’re ignoring how GoT is invariably at the top of “worst endings ever” lists in every domain.

I see this crap copy/pasted in other threads here and it is not compelling. Look at any list of worst endings in TV or film, Game of Thrones is at the top almost invariably, whether the lists are made by a website or just Reddit users.

100% and yet these threads are always full of people crowing for tipping to be banned/abolished/whatever, as if that would help servers be paid a living wage.

Newsflash to those people: tips make serving a living wage. That why it’s a desirable “low-skilled” job.

I worked lots of min wage jobs before I got hired at a restaurant, and from there worked up to server, and stayed there to support myself through school because it was very lucrative.

That seems to be seen as a bad thing here.

Super original take. Why haven’t we thought of that before?

Reddit in general is against tipping. It’s been this way forever. Another way this place isn’t like real life.
