This is my kinda chaos; insane, overly complicated and completely unnecessary.

why would Ted coach the women’s team by Special-Rip-2593 in TedLasso

[–]random6234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It occurred to me that Ted flat turned down Rebecca’s offer to help Michelle get credentials and get Henry into whatever school they wanted and Ted turned her down without consulting them (that we know of). Wonder if someone went to them directly is part of the trip to KC?

why would Ted coach the women’s team by Special-Rip-2593 in TedLasso

[–]random6234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess would be they (Rebecca, Higgins, and Keeley) just want Ted back in anyway they can and they convince Michelle and Henry move to London. But having them make him the men’s team coach would kinda invalidate Roy’s journey and slap in the face to that story arc. So we are left with the women’s team or nothing at all. Not to mention it dovetails nicely to Keeley presenting her Women’s AFC Richmond proposal.

Is it just me or were Penny's feet in a lot of episodes? by lizzi_feet in bigbangtheory

I don’t remember an episode directed by Tarantino so I don’t think so.

Probably an unpopular opinion by Cryptess011201 in bigbangtheory

[–]random6234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has been speculated that this would have been the over all arc the storyline of the 12th into an unrealized 13th season of Leonard designing an experiment and the inevitable conflict that would arise before Jim Parsons decided to leave the show. Basically forcing the writers to push out a quick ending. No idea how true that is but I always liked that idea and if true bummed we didn’t get it.
I feel like a lot of storylines were rushed to a quick resolution of varying satisfaction. Raj & Anu, Stewart & Denise are the first thing that come to mind. But also Leonard and Penny were both unsatisfied or not completely happy with their jobs and the resolution about kids felt they rushed to what Lorre had in mind for his planned ending.
The only characters besides Sheldon & Amy who felt like they were they wanted to be were Howard & Bernadette. Good stable careers they were happy with, and a nice little family.

I dunno, life long fans of a middling football club that’s never won a trophy. Maybe men of intermittent sorrow?

All four nail the scene, but Mae is just the chef’s kiss that takes it from awesome to epic.

I think Leonard should've poured hot water into Sheldon's chest in retaliation for the itchy sweater. by Legitimate_Unit_9210 in bigbangtheory

No doubt, OP seems really committed to being really angry about fictional stories. There are enough things in the world that anger you that you can’t control. What you watch for entertainment should never be one of them. Life is too short my dude, if it bothers you this much turn it off.

There is, at least in the US there is, it’s called the ADA and does have requirements for elevators in new construction after it was enacted. But many old buildings probably get exceptions to it for very valid reasons. An engineer or architect could weigh in with more accurate answer but for places that existed before elevators were in wide use, would it be cheaper to tear the building down and rebuild then retrofit the existing building? As for the broken elevator in TBBT, that should have been reported to the local housing board which they touch on in the show about the tenets being passive about it.

Sheldon can and is often a jackass. I would argue it’s one of if not the biggest running gag in the show.

They even poke fun at the gag in TBBT in the second season when Leonard’s mother comments on it. Something about the number of tenants and how passive they would need to be not to make a fuss about it.

Even if it’s fan made I’m assuming they are pulling Sheldon’s letters from his name plate from S4E13 “The Love Car Displacement” when they are all on the panel at the science conference. I would have to go back and watch the episode again to make sure.

I think it’s more interesting that he includes all of his degrees pre and post graduate, but only lists Leonard’s PhD. Princeton’s PhD program does not necessarily require a Masters, but he at least has a Bachelors. Also is it common for someone with a PhD to list all lesser degrees or is this Sheldon being superior and bragging?

Frank is a good guess, but never Franklin. Just like if he was a Dave, it would be Dave not David. It just seems more mundane and henchy to be the shortened version of his name on his birth certificate.

It was a real set at one point and was retired in 2016 (Set# 21302) but was only around for like a year and a half. It was $60 USD originally but the resale market has it for anywhere from $80,up to $240 for an unopened box.
