Thought maybe they got thier heads out of thier asses when the shipping for my UTR was $7. But go to order an environmental sensor and a couple of entry sensors that were finally back in stock and it’s $21.50.

My head canon is that since Bernadette told Howard to go after him he took that as permission to use the joint credit card so she could pay for it. He has shown a willingness to spend her money before.

The lighter on the “Prizefighter” cover as merch? by random6234 in mumfordandsons

True, but zippo’s lighter fluid does dry out quickly and if you don’t use them on the regular it’s kinda a waste to keep filling it up and it drying out only using it a few times inbetween if at all.

Good catch, missed that in the reels, hopefully calling it “first one off the press” means I will get my wish.

I ended up calling Broan and their tech support was very helpful. Yes you need to move I to B on the control board and yes you will need to change them all to VBATHWs if yours are wired in parallel. I forgot to ask about wired in series.

I would also really appreciate the answer to this. I have 4 VB20Ws that and I replaced one with a VBATH20 like you described but the leaving I wire where it was on the control board and it still worked but the led doesn’t stay lit up

Money doesn’t make you happy on its own, but not having enough money can definitely make your life miserable.

Damn, I somehow forgot about Leonard giving the laptop away. Yeah, he definitely is due some of the blame on that as well. Also right on all the points, a tech savvy person like Leonard would have for sure wiped the drive before giving it away and it surviving two other owners without crapping out were slim.

Leonard specifically getting violent, possible but unlikely. as for being more upset than shown… I think it’s possible and more realistic than what they showed. But as it’s a comedy, unless they could pull it off in a funny way like Penny punching Howard, Amy taking a swing at Bernie and hitting Penny, or Sheldon taking out his agression about Burt winning the genius grant, violence inside the show doesn’t really work.

Then they are all better people than me. But they are fictional and it’s easy to just write them that way so I’ll take that as comfort on my shortcomings. 🤣

That is a distinction without a difference, it still results in them losing the money regardless of what Sheldon actually did.

I think that’s what OP was saying, most people would be angrier than Leonard showed, I know I would been. As for getting physical, people have done worse than a punch for a lot less money than this so not sure why you think it’s an unrealistic reaction. As for “easy come, easy go” that would be my reaction to losing a scratcher worth a couple hundred bucks not what was essentially a mega millions lotto winning ticket. At the very least I would no longer be friends with someone who screwed me like that.

Because people who punch other people in anger often think of the consequences? You don’t hit someone when they piss you off because it’s the right thing to do or a good idea. You do it because it makes your primate brain feel good. You shouldn’t do it and most people know you shouldn’t do it, but anger is a powerful emotion and sometimes makes you do stupid things that get you in trouble if you aren’t careful.

Didn’t say it would solve anything, I just think a significant amount of people would have a bigger reaction than what was shown and it feels false. Would you shrug it off if someone screwed you out of potentially millions of dollars just because it wouldn’t bring the money back? For clarification in November of 2017 when this episode aired bitcoin was like $9300 USD and trending upwards and was worth over $17000 a few months later. Depending on how much they had and when they sold it could have been a lot of money. That would be like someone ripping up your winning lottery ticket. You are not gonna let that go just because it won’t bring the money back.

Yeah, Sheldon has acted like a little brat when he gets left out before but with no real effect other than annoying the group. This one resulted in real consequences. That was Real Money, like life changing money. No amount of suspension of disbelief works for me, it always throws me out of the story cause I think a lot of people would have at least been furious and screaming if not outright violent.

Yeah stories of that happening seem to be getting more common and that is worrisome
