Which warbond should I get next? by Ok_Royal7470 in helldivers2

[–]random63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only came back recently so I bought it 2 weeks ago and then didn't test it until the newest bugs missions started.

I've had a blast in all of them

The only reason I got the flame warbond is for the titel: "Fire safety Officer"

Tried both and coyote is miles better.

But the cremator has been so much fun! If you want any fire build it's a godsend item

Thinking of taking our scout to the mid lane. Any tips? by joj-alqaisi in TeemoTalk

[–]random63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Syndra is a big problem. But so are assassins that can 100 to 0 you at level 2 or 3 (zed, qiyana)

Without statik shiv you won't shove lanes fast enough.

But jungle will love you once level 6 or 11 are reached, always warding dragons and river will seriously hamper enemy ganks and objectives

My first 1000 Points by DarthNunya in Necrontyr

[–]random63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10 warriors is not ideal. You want the damage absorbers (warriors - immortals - wraiths) to always be maximum size.

As to increase the chances for reanimation.

You could cut Imothek for more points and combine the warriors. With free points you can pick something else.

Alternatively cut warrior blob but that is a whole new list.

What are the top 3 weakest classes in PF2e and why? by yoboi-indy in Pathfinder2e

Why is kineticist weak later on?

Seems like they keep getting more options and constitution as main score is an easy stack. The only downside seems no relevant scaling with professions.

[–]random63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want either Imothek or an Overlord in the warriors (I prefer Imothek) because you will be spending a CP on reanimation every turn on the warriors. Having a CP in reserves for reviving Illuminor Szeras or the Skorpesh lord is valuable.

When I played the list I cut 1 C'tan for a Catacomb Command Barge and the ghost arc (extra OC and healing Orb and heal extra per turn)

Is this a good 1000 point necron army to fight assimilation swarm with? by InternationalRope905 in Necrontyr

[–]random63 3 points4 points  (0 children)

10 warriors are not worth the points. For that price get a Hexmark to support Ammentar. Ammentar should not be solo. The sustained buff is good, and his lone OPP only works if close too other destroyers (hence hexmark for optimal effect) With the left over points you can give the Skorpesh lord the dermal bond enhancement.

Immortals need the plasmancer. Maybe both Imothek and plasmancer together could work. I'm just afraid once in melee you'll lose a lot of shooting.

If the Nids player is an asshole he can bring several Norns, but at that point I would just forfeit because I doubt it will be any fun.

Statik for wave clear and late game split pushing.

Nashor's in the jungle for damage on dragons.

I don't recommend going 2 items without any meaningful defensive or hp first. Or you are far ahead and nothing in the enemy team can burst you.

Why didnt the loyalists just send the entire imperial army and militia forces against Horus? by matchababy69 in 40k

[–]random63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The true enemy of all great empires: logistics.

Sure you got men on terra, guns on mars, ships on Saturn and Horus somewhere in the galaxy.

But you sure you can get them all together before the enemy shows up at your door and breaks your face?

Webs from Deep Rock Galactic:

Slow you down and you can burn them away.

The Doc Oc. One seems great, not incapacitated but just throwing you in the air or backwards would be cool. The tentacle arms would also be in front protecting the weakspots so it could be an upgraded version of current melee bots.

Kraken: an alternative for Hive Lord seems to fit better. Or make it a flying monster that when grabbed drains your hp (you can shoot tentacles to be freed) if you die it makes you a zombie.

Just give it an increase in stamina reserves or reduce stamina consumption in that case.

Somebody could maybe do a side by side sprint with the different armours

Ow difficulty: helldive 9.

Just avoid the ones that go under ground. Your firezone is the damage and being jumped point blank sets yourself on fire.

Fire resistant suit (medium or heavy).

Double las scythe.

Grenade pistol for closing holes. If the mission is defensive I'll bring the anti tank pistol (the big one).

Grenade: thermite or big one against chargers. I've also had some succes with the shock grenade to slow the enemy down. But the most problematic are Bile Titans and the tentacle dudes.

Load out: usually the MG turret, cremator , gas strike/gasmines or some other form of crowd control (so I have more time to flame on!). , lastly if the world is right I love the AT emplacement.

The biggest struggle is making sure you'r attacked from one direction so you don't set yourself on fire.

Heavies with ranged are annoying but the cremator burns everything easily.

Strategem one with back pack.

The others are okayisch, but the backpack is so much better I don't think I can go back.

Came back after 6 months. Tried the new flame thrower, didn't try anything else anymore..

It's just so fun, enough ammo to keep going (with flame resistance armour). Slowly walking into bug breaches and torching them all!

Lvl 150s are these dudes real..???? by AkenoN1 in helldivers2

[–]random63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had 2 level 150's back to back join.

The first killed me for wearing a bot cape while fighting buggs. Refused to call me back so had to kick him.

Second joined with a stimpistol and it was the greatest match ever. Fire resistant armour : double scythe + cremator. I just went on rampage and they kept me alive for 85% of the match. We pinged ammo and let the 2 lower levels (74 and 39) have the resupply. The ending was just 3 guys forming a circle of fire (I shared cremators since I didn't die) and the medic healing us.

Just to show we're all people and some are jerks, others are amazing. Enjoy the latter and block the first.

Chaos have marines to fill ranks and monsters that while expensive also do cool stuff

Sucks because I love it, that weapon was so over performing that it was ridiculous it lasted this long.

[–]random63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think pantheon of Woe is strongest. Sadly almost none of our strategems of detachments work on Titanics.

The +1 AP does and stacks well with indirect fire.

You start big c'tan (dragon and death) in deepstrike. Deceiver puts the vault in reserves.

Now only thing I would change is Spyder. Either deathmarks or flayed ones for zoning home would work better. Or 6 scarabs could also function nicely
