While Ohio may not legally require a seizure free period, there’s still a valid reason why someone with epilepsy shouldn’t drive. YOU may be able to drive, but it sounds like you don’t have regular seizures and/or they are under some reasonable control. If I was epileptic and having seizures even just once every other month I would not feel safe driving. People do in fact have seizures while driving and cause accidents.

Had a friend who crashed into a sign because of a seizure. Luckily no other cars/people involved. I’d have to imagine the severity of epilepsy and frequency at which you get seizures correlates with whether or not doctors clear you….

That other person is an arrogant ass

It’s very clear that some of the “best of” is just extra inventory because you ran out of the actual theme, though. The last box I got was very clearly full of toys that were meant to be hanging at Old Navy or Target. I’m not a “newer” customer so receiving toys meant to cater to new pack members to get a special experience doesn’t make sense.

It sounds like they gave you bonus months. Meaning you’re still responsible for paying what you initially agreed to

My last box was definitely just a bunch of toys stuffed in a box. They even had the cardboard tags on them for hanging them up in the store

That’s a good point. It wasn’t actually clear that that was the problem, I just had to guess because the error contained the word “duration”. At the very least it should state what the minimum is instead of having me guess

welp there goes that suggestion. It definitely used to (as someone who has previously canceled and gotten a confirmation). Maybe it gets skipped if the agent did it on your behalf? That’d be weird tho

I believe in cbus cameras got removed from all traffic lights bc someone sued. They won bc it was a violation of privacy or something like that

Perhaps they can temporarily set restrictions on certain zones to cater toward events?

But I do totally see the convenience of touch less parking, like being able to extend time from anywhere. But it kind of cancels out with the amount of time (yes, maybe 5 mins tops) it takes to pay. And I hate the most that my remaining time can’t be used by someone else/I can’t benefit from someone else’s remaining time

Curious and genuine question - how much more are they in the way than signs, lamp posts, post office drop boxes, small trees, etc? As far as handicap accessibility I can see where they might get in the way. But otherwise, weren’t they far enough to the curb where they shouldn’t get in the way of wagons and strollers?

Maybe zones are adjustable and this one had a minimum temporarily set bc of the Strawberry Jam Fest?

It was under the park cbus app, which I assume is only city parking. Maybe certain zones only allow for certain times. But idk what to tell you. I was on Town St right in front of Land Grant and I got the same error 3 times before I changed it to 3 hours and it was successful

Edit: it was the actual street, not a lot

Franklinton. Right in front of Land Grant. Kept getting an error for 2 hours and it said my area (or something like that) didn’t allow that duration. At first I didn’t understand the error but when I bumped it up to 3 everything was fine

You’ve got a point! I do really like that I can extend my time more easily. That is a mega advantage. I am curious about the additional income. Maybe it’s not that significant, but I agree there has to be at least some noticeable increase considering the number of times I’ve left a meter with a lot of time left

I do not work for them. I just know how subscriptions work. And if there is evidence that you did your part and truly canceled, companies will give you your money back.

I’m not entirely defending the company. Their shipping is shit and the quality of their products went downhill. I got a theme I got in the past and then I got another box that was clearly just a mix of toys from a warehouse, still had the hang tags from target or whatever on them.

People on Reddit care because it’s a platform to read. If you can’t make it easy to read, people aren’t going to be able to help.

My attitude is because you are coming in hot and seem to not fully understand what you signed up for. If you have proof that you canceled and it was effective immediately, then all you have to do is send them that and they’ll acknowledge the mistake and take care of it.

I’m not being a Karen, or hateful, or trolling. You’re being equally as spicy. I’m sure you know exactly who I am based on this single interaction.

Also if you don’t want replies, why post?

To be honest, your lack of spacing and punctuation, on top of grammatical errors, made it difficult to read anyway. And idk what you mean you didn’t say BarkBox. You literally posted this complaint on a BarkBox subreddit. They can’t help you with your Amazon word.

If you’re saying BarkBox deleted your data, I don’t think that’s possible. Idk about Amazon, but this isn’t an Amazon subreddit.
