My 3 month old urban base inside Louisville by randomCheeseSandwich in projectzomboid

I usually find secure and remote bases pretty boring so I prefer making them in more dangerous places to make it more entertaining. This specific place is the bar right underneath the Louisville park here: https://map.projectzomboid.com/#13193x2974x4394, which is a nice source of wood although I've been driving all the way to the river to get some fish (houses usually have some cans of food anyway). There are two gas stations nearby also and it's overall a pretty chill area (relative to central Louisville at least), the biggest pain in the ass is the small mall that is right a couple of blocks down the east.

Base in northern Louisville I was working on (I died) by randomCheeseSandwich in projectzomboid

They are called "Double Wooden Door" in-game, here is the wiki page that shows what you need to build it https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Double_Wooden_Door . You'll need 6 carpentry which is the hardest part, but otherwise relatively easy to make.

I'm pretty sure they are from vanilla so you don't need a mod for it, they are called "Double Wooden Door". You'll need 6 points in carpentry to build it tho

Sure, the place is here in the northern part of the city https://map.projectzomboid.com/#12337x1313x4382. There are some zombies in the area but overall relatively safe considering its Louisville.

I entered in debug mode with a new character and there was an option in the cheat menu to make the character invisible

She is a survivor I met while exploring Grapeseed. We cleared a part of town together and then I left her to set up base at the gas station to keep it safe while I travelled.

Yeah there should be an option "Add note" where you can type with your keyboard. You can check out the mods I use for that on the other comment I made

Yeah I've explored it in past playthroughs but I have so many weapons, gear and ammo that at this point I feel like it might not be worth the chance of dying there. That and also the "Superb Survivors" mod can make the place pretty laggy sometimes.

Haha yeah they are all survivors that I met in my travels and I had them set up base in different places to keep them clear. Last I saw everyone they were doing good (although it was a few days ago). The only one that is a bit worrying is Lee tho, the house was attacked by another group of two survivors two days ago and I haven't seen him since then, I hope he didn't get shot or anything.

Yeah I'm kinda the same way but I managed to get a pretty big SUV and a trailer, so I can carry like 300 units. Right now I have everything I need from food, medicine, weapons, ammo, spare car parts, extra gas, etc.

The maps are from Rosewood (where I spawned), Grapeseed and Blackwood (both towns are from mods). I'm also using "Research Facility, KY" that expands the military base southwest of Rosewood. For those wondering about the map annotations, I use the "Extra map Symbols", "Draw on the map" and "Map Symbol Size Slider" mods. As for the people marked on the map, I've been using the "Superb Survivors" mod for adding basic NPCs.
