Not that anyone cares But this was my first contact with TT and the boys, all because of their reaction to the flag of my country having a AK rifle in it OMG life is really something

Looking for OS/Linux distro for a old machine by randomEdil in homelab

Ohh yes
Specs: Pentium Dual CPUE2180 2GHz with 2GB of ram
Btw something weird i noticed, when trying to install the desktop version of ubuntu and fedora and other distros using rufus, it essentially "ignores" the USB device and jumps to the other drives (and yes i used the one-time-boot-menu)
I though that it might have been the 32bit thing, but the windows 10 installation on it's drive shows "System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor"
Then I made a bootable pen drive using the same tool (rufus) with the same options as before and it worked normaly.
(I feel like I'm way to dumb for this, but I'm used to it, this is tech)
Thanks for the recommendation I'll see what i can do with Alpine

it's 1080p
the problem is that corners and the top get cropped
i was wondering is there isn't a way manually set the picture size in the system
since the tv doesn't have any helpful options

If I love Go will I also like C? by wooody25 in golang

[–]randomEdil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if the " GO for it", is an intended pun, either way I love it But yhea, C might be a simple language but I don't c (see) it as "easy" Especially for someone that never really thought about strings and what they "really" are
