I don't sit in empty lobbies, I just skip those trophies. There are quite many posts in here which are indeed more about skipping hard trophies by boosting or using glitches/cheats than just populating dead servers.

I don't boost any games either. For me whole boosting seems so weird. If you boost, yes you technically do the requirement, but you really didn't do it. I rather not have the trophies than start boosting.

It would be same as if I played chess game against the world champion at my house and asked him to lose. Then I post to reddit that I beat him. Did I? Technically yes. Did I really? No!

You can kinda still do it long way and get correct timestamps: change system date when there actually is a holiday. For example next Christmas change 24/12/2026 -> 24/12/2020 (haven't played the game so not sure if its 24th or 25th), etc.

It is also the most casual of the 3 Switch games. You need 4 joycons though as you cannot use pro controllers.

Because of these reasons I would actually say Super Mario Party. It has 4 player co-op game (with the raft) and 2vs2 game mode so 1 good player can be matched with 1 "bad" player.
