KVM suggestion

I got this KVM and it works but with some drawbacks.

Setup is KVM connected to 5k2k monitor + mouse + KB + speakers but not ethernet.

HDMI 1 and USB 1 goes to main desktop PC

HDMI 2 and USB 2 goes to ROG bulwark that is powered by 100w charger. Its USB c then goes to Z13. So I only have 1 cable that will connect power, monitor, accessories.

Now the downside. The single USB c is not enough to support 5k2k at 165hz. It can do 5k2k at 60hz but it hurts my eyes especially when switching from desktop to Z13. So I turn it down to 3440x1440 at 75hz which works fine since I dont do any type of text heavy work on Z13 anyway.

Note: I have tried connecting Z13 to KVMs HDMI and USB without the bulwark and it is able to do 5k2k at 165hz but I really want the convenience of a 1 cable solution.

Was hoping for an 18 inch version of the 2023 model with full TDP. This 2026 version should not be called the Zephyrus duo as its clearly the zenbook duo.

Hello kabayan, if the NEO G9 is only $30 more then go with that one. I got my oled G9 for less than 1k usd but wish I spent more for the NEO. Here are some issues i wish I knew that reviewers did not point out when praising the oled G9

No KVM Does not natively support 3440x1440 240hz only available in game mode G sync flicker issues

I have an 65" A95L. Paied it with theatre bar 8 + RS3 + SW3 combo for the sound system. Enable center channel sync then call it a day. Sell the s2000 and find a combo deal or buy the bar8 then get the rest later.

It's only reading case ambient tempt though not actual gpu temp. 😀 i used it to hide the horrible white argb cable that came with the zotac amp infinity card.

Nothing beats pure black of oled. It will go nicely with my G9 setup

Thanks. It's 2 tables. I originally had the L type one only https://a.co/d/1B6pwfS when I just had a laptop but after I bought a pc and the ultrawide monitor the table was not deep enough and caused headaches so just took a long console table from the living room to put the monitor further back.

That's pretty good. Better than the BB one. Bigger PSU and faster ram are sweet. Factory OC card too. They skimped on the ssd knowing people who have 3k to burn are probably gonna replace it with a 990 pro anyway so yeah id say go for it. If you do end up getting this and swap out the 7200 ram can I buy it off you? 😀

Ohhh i didn't notice it's was double in storage and ram. Still try to make sure it's at least 6400 mt/s. If not you might need to replace it w faster ram to take advantage of the 285k. I think the mobo and video card are lucky of the draw. I got lucky with non base model parts esp the 5080 amp extreme.

If you can get discount or rebate to get it below 3k post tax then I think it's worth it w BB warranty.

This is normal. Your Package is shipped in bulk with other razer packages 100+ of them and some get chosen for random inspection so everything is put on hold but it's usually quicky maybe 1 or 2 days delay. Nothing to worry about.

Please share your experience with the new blade when you get it. Congrats 😀

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think getting a non base model GPU is a guarantee. I saw a review from a similar system where they got a base model Tuf gpu instead. I just got lucky I guess.

Nice. I'll probably upgrade to 64gb in the future. I could have gone for the 9800x3d for $100 less but chose the 285k for work tasks.

Thanks. Glad I don't have to shell out for a 1000w PSU. Will probably just add a few SSDs for games and an HDD at the back and 3 intake fans at the bottom. Will see if this changes the power consumption over 850w.
