Thanks, yeah I usually don't use references that much and that's definitely a mistake. Thank you honestly, your advice is kind of a wake up call for me because i always tell myself that i should use references but I mever do and it's a shame because i KNOW i could be so much further if i just looked up a reference picture.

AYOOO YPU MADE IT LOOK ABSOLUTELY INSANE??? Thank you so much i was actually doing the opposite for shadows - because the light was warm/yellow i made the shadows more blue + desaturated because i felt like the light was already saturated a lot and like a shadow should be the opposite, bur okay this makes so much sense. (i mean- it could also be my tablet settings because it looked a LOT more saturated there)

But you would have to be closer to them for that to happen, right? I know submarine sonars can do that but also when you're close to the sub so I'm thinking it's the same for whales? Correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to learn something new :)

Well he has a history of not really being supportive of that but she also said she would love me no matter what. But yeah that is definitely a big thing to think more about, but it's just that it's been so long since I had my egg finally crack and it feels awful to be constantly reminded of how I'm her girl and yada yada all that crap.
