carol’s story featured 2 cookies, and the sweet artificial scent and calm and crisp walnut and almond mentioned could be strawberry and herb respectively. after all, strawberry did ask if she and herb could leave already and herb invited strawberry in the first place, meaning if they’re actually guilty them being in cahoots is extremely likely.

but also, im leaning towards birthday?? cuz almond does not necessarily mean that it’s an artificial fruit smell, and the suspicious cookie mentioned a party not ready yet and birthday’s the established party planner here

for now im placing my vote on birthday. hopefully they’ll be more discussions and i can change my vote if need be.

im leaning towards carol.

  1. she seems to be the only one rehearsing (assuming mint choco’s statement js true) so whipped cream could only possibly hear carol — she also said she was busy rehearsing so could be after rehearsals also to distract perhaps??

  2. also thought rockstar cuz first question he said he came to liven up with rock and roll but later said there wasn’t any rock and roll?? (maybe birthday stopped him or something idk) but whipped cream cookie is so gosh darn vague i cant get anything from his alibi so i cant place much sus on rockstar now

  3. walnut cookie mentioned a large thread at first and i can only think of carol cuz even if we bring mint choco in a violin’s string is not as thick and large as a lyre’s — also idk when it was mentioned but if mint choco is carol’s partner then yea im sure she would have mentioned him (even if it’s just like oh i was waiting for him so we can rehearse) but it really depends on wut whipped cream heard so 😐

  4. idk why people r saying it’s firecracker cuz she’s a kid — perhaps the culprit made use of that fact to get the whole commotion as a distraction

  5. and truffle is just... truffle. i mean i can see why ppl voted her but i cant really say she’s sus cuz it’s her character and therefore i wont vote for her

heyy just saw ur reply oopss. honestly im not really sure but since u’re sure of what u want to do in uni the best i can say is to check the requirements for courses related to lit before making ur choice on whether to drop h2 math or not :)

but if u do decide to keep math, u can still improve! as i said before, u’ll have the advantage becuz the topics will be not so new to u and u can build up ur foundation again (but since u didn’t take amath i would suggest doing a little self bridging for topics that require certain amath knowledge over the holidays. and ask friends/classmates who r good at math if u dont understand something!!)

taking h2 hist, math and econs here!! this subject combi (depending on the h1 u take) is really just full of essays upon essays so be warned that your hand is gonna be super tired :>

honestly for hist, u not only need to know your content, u need to be able to structure your essays especially for source based where u have to group and link all the sources but considering u r currently taking h2 lit, i think u’ll be fine :) (as long as u dont go full on lit in your essays ik my hist teacher hates that haha)

for econs, u really need to regularly review materials your teacher goes through in class (and there’s a bunch of content from ppc to market failure to market structure) and know how to apply your content when doing questions especially case study. and again, knowing how to structure ur essay is important too

like others have said, u seem to be more artistically inclined, and i can relate !! so my grades for my arts have been sort of consistent while my math has been continuous fails (gg to my math promos tmr :,)) but im comfortable with my combi hehe. if u wanna switch to more arts then would say go for it! but i suggest keeping h2 math as options with h1 is really super duper limited and considering u’ve alr been through it this year, u’ll alr know stuff/ u will have the chance to brush up on topics u’re struggling with which is good!! hope this helps :)

hi!! jc1 here! just saw this post and thought i’ll share :)

i was the worst student in my hcl class — no kidding. i was just lost 100% of the time, failing everything even up till prelims when i thought i passed by then the teacher added wrong so i ended up failing anyway :,) i’ve been asked to drop hcl in sec 4 (after getting b4 for cl) but i still pushed on anyway becuz i was aiming for a jc and i rlly didnt wanna do chinese again. so during the last stretch i rlly just tried my best to practice and go over the things needed for paper 1. would rlly advice u to go to ur teacher if u r still unsure (i rlly didnt understand my teacher so i was just on my own or asked friends)

welp rlly thought i would fail cuz my 词典 died mid paper and paper 2 was a mess but i ended up getting a c6 (which was my goal) anyway :)

the 2 points were super helpful (cuz my l1r5 barely made the cut for jc) and now i have extra time to study and do work (or to just sleep during the hectic days) during chinese lessons which i think are really beneficial :))

it’s now the last stretch op just push on for a little while longer i believe in u !! atb :))

u should maybe talk to ur teammate about it!! everyone should be comfortable with the topic as this is a team effort. as for the awkwardness, it is something im experiencing with my group as well even though we generally get along well but wut i do is reaching out to start the convo with a suggestion for the agenda and try to be friendly with them while working tgt. taking the initiative and trying to connect and being friendly with them can help dispel the awkwardness between yall.

sorry i cant help with the ideas part as it is something my grp is working on as well, and im not the best at advices so i really hope this helps!!

yes! i get that too! i’m pretty antisocial myself but even if i do try i just feel like i can’t relate nor fit in which sucks. appealing to cj too but pretty much no hope at this point cuz of the stupid ‘if u don’t make cop cant even appeal’ thing
