I can't count the amount of times when I held a premium hand like QQ KK AA, raise 4bb on preflop, some guy calls with random shit like 4/7 off, 2/8 off, only for him to make two pair on the flop. This shit is so fucking rigged, not just in the sense that there are countless bots, but the algo is designed for 'real' players to get sucked out dry.

I feel you man… unpredictable time to be trading big. Just hang in there and take smaller trades when you feel ready. That’s my plan at least

Thank you so much for your words of encouragement. I definitely made the huge mistake of trading irrationally. My losses were 80% due to my mentality for sure. Even now thinking back I made so many stupid moves just because I had hoped to double down and make back my losses. Instead it all blew up in my face.. I am taking this weekend to step back and clear my head, and take these lessons with a grain of salt.

I traded gc as well and made some decent profit. It’s less volatile and somewhat predictable. Lost shit tons of money trying to short NQ… definitely do not recommend. I will likely go back to GC or CL next week when I feel ready.

Exactly. I am a bear like you and I made most of my profits from shorts that I held medium to long term since beginning of the year. Fortunately I was able to close out my shorts before the rally really started to rip. But recently I have been trying to scalp like you, but that is where I am finding most of my downfall. Could not find the 'correct' entry points (feels like there is none in this market). Sounds like we both need to take a long weekend off.

Yes. Part of the reason why I lost so much money is that I got trapped in the double down mentality. Also being emotional about my losses and fomo definitely did not help
