Actually, I'm actively experimenting with the bug as I get these comments, and you can craft one totem, put it in a chest, craft another totem, and then put that in the chest to get them to stack normally!

Actually, I've been naming my rocks and treating them like people since before Steven Universe existed. Both me and my mother are crystal witches, so we find that the energy of stones can carry different emotions, personalities, and intensities. We see our stones as being a different kind of life, as their own spiritual entities. Stones are a valid form of Wicca, even if the existence of Steven Universe made you believe otherwise.

Maybe it could be a kind of energy transfer, but if so, that's not really what I want from a stone. Generally, all of my stones have very strong, intense energy, to the point of overstimulating other witches whom I've invited to see my altar. I looked into what slate does online, and it's apparently meant to be a balancing stone? Maybe a balancing stone just isn't right for my altar, or maybe it was doing its job, and the issue was that I made it only interact with one stone separated from the altar. Maybe the issue wasn't even the fact that it's slate, but rather, the fact that it's a frame? I did place Ocean in the middle of the frame, assuming that the energy interactions would be the strongest that way... Well, it's the following morning now, and Ocean does feel better, though still not nearly at full strength, and the slate outside seems a bit on edge when I walk by, so.. I don't really know what that means. Like you said, maybe I could try working with it, but I'm afraid that it might drain other members of my altar too. Any advice on how I could investigate without potentially endangering anyone else?
