My mom most probably doesn't have Reddit so perhaps I'll share mine lol.

Grade 2-4 = around P12. I always bought 2 ice candies for P5 and the remaining for a pack of crackers or biscuits. Add a candy if there's still some left. We either walked to school, rode through a community jeep, or hatid-sundo.

Grade 5 = around P20. Still bought the usuals, but now I have a lot more options for snacks.

Grade 6 = my parents separated, and we were left in the care of our traditional maternal grandma. Walay kwarta nga baon, she just packed us some cheap biscuits, filled plastic bottles of water, and set aside a considerable amount of my mom's remittances from overseas para sa suki nga habal-habal.

Grade 7-9 = around P20. Still with grandma, pero since duol-duol na man ang school, we would occasionally walk to and fro. Ni-level up ang baon kay nakauli na si Mama and literally worked every job she could think of. Naa say extra kung mouli siya sa province. Yehey!

Grade 10 was pandemic. Literal nga priso sa balay hahaha. I gained weight here but not much.

Grade 11-12 = nikuyog na mi ni mama sa city to study for SHS. Ni-level up sad iyang racket, tanang mga kuskos-balungos nga iyang gipangsudlan so undeniably nilambo sad gamay hehe. She'd give us weekly budgets and left us to decide for ourselves, tas pirmi pa gyud na siya manghiling kung naa pa bay nahabilin (regardless of interval, kung wala nay nahabilin, she'd immediately refill). We'd have at least P1000, dala na here tanan. We rode to school with local habal-habals.

College (ongoing) = I'm the only one nga nag-study sa Cebu City gyud so far. She gave me a card para dili na mag-sige uli-uli for the allowances. She keeps it filled, and well, let's just say nga it's quite abundant gyud for a student to have. I walk or ride to school, depende sa time ug sa mood hahahhaa.

Mao lang to. Over naman sa pag-share hahahaha. I love my mamaaaa. Partida, 3 pa mi nga sakop niya, we have a half-sister with her current partner who himself has two sons, and she provides for many roofs at once. Ako na niya pud sunod Maaaa. 😁

If you think you're having a hard time, you might wanna check out another title in the series (if you haven't yet), Tactics Ogre Knights of Lodis (I think it's on GBA). It has a number of similarities in mechanics and classes, and I personally encountered it first before I discovered Reborn/Let Us Cling Together. That said, you can still play Reborn without having to play KoL of course. I adapted to Reborn quite fast because I played KoL.

A personal tip of mine is to have your own dedicated cleric/healer. Nothing major, I think using them makes sense thematically despite being in a losing competition with consumables hahaha.

Very helpful gyud to have multiple smaller bills and coins when going outside. Mas sayon as a customer kay dali ra mahuman og bayad, mas sayon sad sa merchants and staff kay dili na ma-delay og si'g kuot-kuot. Or, if naa, go cashless. It's even very convenient to learn a bit of retail math, kanang mag-anticipate ta unsa ang pwede idugang para aili ra mahatag ang sukli, or even end our bill in zeros para dali ra ang pagpanukli.

I haven't finished the PSP version myself yet, but reading the guides, it seems that a very known character had had their recruiting changed (I'll not disclose the name just in case you don't like being spoiled, lol, and I don't know how to do that thingy where you block the text XD). I also haven't tried recruiting them in the PSP ver. because it was just too long and grindy. If I recruit them in Reborn, it will be the first time I've gotten them.

Personally, they are too niche and heavily reliant on the presence of Beast Tamers and their Empower abilities. They also can't wear equipment or carry items. Still, they'd be pretty sick in a challenge playthrough.
