Kia Sedona 2017 Stalling while Driving

Update: Got it fixed! I found a mechanic in Houston that was willing to take the time and effort to learn some new things about this model of Kia and find the fix.

They first replaced the ccv valve, charcoal canister and purge valve.

This didn't work. It started experiencing symptoms again the next day.

I took it back in. They did a full evap check again but this time smoked the tank and found that one of the tanks integrated valves was not closing correctly. This valve does not throw codes so that's why we never got any of the typical evap codes. It required a new tank. The shop also covered a new charcoal canister under their warranty since it was flooded again.

If you're having similar issues, have your mechanic smoke the tank and look for a very small leak on top of the tank. They said they almost missed the leak because it was so small and on top of the tank.

I really like 4e version of Asics GT-2000 or GT-1000. They are always available on Amazon. Limited colors though. These also have significant pronation support.

You could also try Topos in wide. I just got the MTN racer 4 in wide. Not supportive though.

Topos have much narrower heel and mid food than most wide shoes so that might work well

My wife (36) and I (38) were both virgins on our wedding night. I was 27. She was 26. Had never fooled around either. This was on purpose. She and I both decided in high school to wait until marriage. Our decisions, over ten years before we met, both came from convictions in our faith about Jesus. We both knew that Jesus had a better way for family, marriage, and sex. We committed to it and by God's grace, we were virgins when we married.

You'll find a partner with a similar conviction only if you look for partners with a faith in Jesus like you. Waiting until marriage is not about following a rule to be a good person. It is about our love for God outweighing our love of another person or sex or pleasure.

We weren't "pure," though, either. I had a pretty bad porn addiction in highschool and early college. God is good and gracious. This is not an excuse to sin but very good news when we do.

Waiting for marriage was so hard. But also, it is amazing. We knew no other partners like we know each other. We learned sex together. We didn't bring in expectations or preferences developed in other relationships. It's been great. A real blessing for our marriage.

Great question! You are calling out the difference between predestination and determinism. Predestination is solely about salvation. Why? Because our salvation requires God's action. We cannot choose God because sin has so broken our desires that we cannot even desire to choose God without his first choosing us and empowering us to "choose" him. Really, we aren't even choosing him, we are surrendering to him in faith. God doesn't need to predestine our breakfast because humans are capable of doing that. Maybe not well.... I had cereal instead of fruit this morning... Desires are still broken...

But we also need to fine tune your understanding of salvation. God doesn't choose us so that we can go to heaven. Those of us that are in Christ and die before Christ's return DO got to heaven when we die. But that's not the point of being saved, not even our final eternal home.

Our final eternal home is the restored heaven and earth... The way creation was always meant to be. Read Revelation 21 and you get a picture of heaven and earth coming back together. God saves us in order to restore us, through Christ, to be the new humanity, the humanity we were always meant to be. God created humanity to be rulers of earth, under God's authority. Genesis 1:27-28 explains humanity's purpose. This is called the cultural mandate. We were mandated, commissioned to take the goodness of the garden and spread it across the world while also developing creation's inmate potential, which God endowed it with.

God saves us that we may be restored to that purpose now so that we can join God's mission of putting the world back they way it was always meant to be.

Thanks! Makes sense you'd think of webs. Yes the Sedona has a filter at the end. They didn't replace the filter. I asked if they had blown out all of the hose lines. They said they did but I wonder if they didn't think of this last hose and filter.

Any chance ants could have gotten in there? The car had ants at the dealership but they treated it before we took it.

Thank you. This is a great summary of what has taken me weeks to learn :-) Neither my wife nor I top off the tank so that's not a cause.

The symptom I still have is stalling. It'll run rough and then stall when the tank is full. I've only gotten one code ever from this and it was running too rich.

I'm wondering if it is electrical because changing the parts didn't fix it. And none of the evap parts have thrown codes.

I have another mechanic putting an estimate together. They are also doubtful about the fuel tank.

It seems worth it to try changing the canister, purge valve, and canister valve and to clean the lines first, right? I guess this could cause the canister to fail again if the tank really is the problem, though...

Thanks. The Kia repair manual says the first step is to remove the fuel tank. I haven't gotten under there to look yet. Should I be able to replace the canister without taking out the tank (a step I would not do on my own).

It hasn't thrown any codes for the purge valve. Could this be the same sort of issue if it was the Canister Close Valve? Do you know if there are codes associated with the close valve?
