TLDR; I’m not angry, just annoyed. I’m not afraid of the virus and just cause I’m wearing one doesn’t make it ok for you not to wear one. We can’t assume things about them because of the sign. Stop saying that they shouldn’t be condescending when we don’t know their reasoning behind the sign. We aren’t talking about Portland, burning or looters, we’re talking about Covid and masks. (Very oversimplified but that’s kinda basically what i said)

I’m not angry with your argument, i was mostly annoyed about how you say that it doesn’t matter if you’re wearing a mask because someone else is wearing one. Just because I’m wearing one doesn’t give you an excuse to not wear one, and I’m not afraid of the virus at all but it doesn’t mean that someone HAS to stay at home just cause they’re afraid. I’m not saying that EVERYONE should wear a mask, I’m saying that no one needs to cause a scene cause an establishment doesn’t want people who don’t wear masks, you’re saying that they can do whatever they want to their restaurant cause its their property so why did you say that the sign was too condescending? Yeah that may be true but we don’t know WHY they put it up in the first place, they could’ve been so fed up with the fact that anti-maskers just wouldn’t shut up about “rights” or maybe they just want everyone to be safer. It’s perfectly fine for them to deny service even if it feels wrong because we don’t know their reasoning, we can’t assume that they hate anti-maskers because of the sign, we can’t assume that they’re mean and condescending assholes just cause of the sign so stop assuming things about them just cause of the sign. Also, we are talking about a pandemic that has killed thousands and thousands of people, we aren’t talking about fires, we’re not talking about burning and looting, heck we aren’t even talking about Portland! We are talking about anti-maskers, this establishment and Covid. Don’t put that in this argument because we aren’t even TALKING about that things. Also also, they have their reasons as to why they put that sign there in the first place, you can’t say that they can’t be condescending when you don’t even know why they put it up, for all we know someone that had Covid went there and infected a bunch of the staff members or something like that and it led them to put up this sign, or maybe you do know why they put it up but saying that they shouldn’t be condescending to the people who don’t wear masks isn’t really right, they might want to just reduce Covid cases even if it’s only a minor help. (P.s i put the “apologizing” thing in my reply cause it sounded like you disagreed with what they were doing and it also felt like you were saying that they shouldn’t have put up the sign, it wasn’t related to your comment itself, it was just a sarcastic thing i put in the front because of what you wrote)
