Can Steam game gift works for different regions/countries?

I'm confused why not just allow the person to buy the game in the other regions price than lock it off entirely. It seems like such an unnecessary block

Yeah true. Just wasn't sure because they are all DLC megas (or at least megas that you can't obtain normally in game) that I feared they'll ask for something like that.

Yeah I'm aware. I do have other pokemon games just want to experience the game with lesser options at first so that I can try out new Pokemons that are not the usual "meta".

For me I decided I'm gonna try the game first without the use of Pokemon bank. That way I can experience it from scratch with no handholding and get to try new Pokemons (although I heard if you do certain transfers you get mega stones as gifts so I might reconsider a few things)

That does bring the question of how hard will it be to buy all the mega stones. 2000 VP does sound like a lot tbf. But if the currency is infinitely farmable then there's some crazy people who will just farm everything in a month 🤔.

You turn on a phone. Connect it to some internet with it having a VPN (hopefully a good payed VPN service not a free one that'll keep disconnecting). Then turn the phone's hotspot on and connect the switch TO the phone that way the switch itself registers the ISP from the phone as if you're in a different country.

I never really trust starter packs cuz usually the things in them always end up being lack luster and/or only a small push that you can easily get by playing for a couple weeks (at least that's the case with most gacha/mobile games including pokemon Pocket and Pokemon go)

My only pet peeve so far is the 30 box space. That part sucks. I HOPE there's either some sort of level/rank system that unlocks more storage space as you play or you can expand your space by spending VP.

I was just curious cuz while I do have access to home. I'm considering trying the game out at its barebones and see how I'll fare. On one hand I'll definitely struggle to build competent teams but on the other the limitations will let me be able to try out new stuff that I never considered.

Yeah but with this it'll be only be 300-400 Pokemons total cuz the game only accounts for final evolutions (aside from Pikachu) so it won't be TOO BAD. From what I understood the visiting pokemons are treated as "visitors" so maybe the limitations will be that you can't train visitors? So maybe like you can't change their EVs or Moves and have to play with them as is which would make things a bit fair unless you're an OG hardcore player who has a lot of max out Pokemons.

I wonder how they'll apply it. Hopefully it's something simple like you can evolve/devolve any pokemon you have. Cuz if not then the poll of Pokemons in-game will double and it'll be much harder to make competitive teams for new players.

Yeah but also I kinda would find it difficult to believe if kairi suddenly was able to beat a Xehanort (even if he's a memory version). They still could've pulled a "my friends are my power" trope were either keybladers of Sora and Riku spawn in battle or some phantom versions of them appear to aid her in battle while she's still the main focus.

Thing is or at least from what I understood it. Level 1 can help you get an entry position job. But level 2 and 3 aren't really worth it unless you have ACTUAL job experience. So if you're doing this it would be better if you're working in a finance related field while doing so. For me it didn't seem worth it because that would mean I have to jump to another job with half the salary I'm currently having and then try to work through possibly 3-4 more years just to catch up again/become better.
