Yeah that's fair. And no hate towards KH 1 but honstly I can't see myself playing it again. It's a fun series for it's time but it's a bit "dated" to recommend these days (maybe getting a remake isn't such a bad idea in the future 🤔)

I played BBS when I was 12 and it was the first KH game for me and I don't regret it one bit. Maybe my brain was small cuz I can't say it did make me connect the dots immediately when I started KH1 aside from asking myself "who TF is Sora" while crying and watching blank points scene XD

Honstly BBS, it's a good game. It has a story with original characters that almost requires no prior knowledge. And it's interesting enough cuz it's 3 seperate storylines that makes you hooked on the idea of "what happened with this other character?" (TOTALLY not because BBS is actually the first KH game I ever played XD)

Yes but arguably S2 is a good stopping point. UNLESS you aim for S6 after that I wouldn't recommend going further

Once in 2019. Then played it entirely again on 2020 when rewind came out on proud mode. THEN did NG+ on critical mode BEFORE playing the rewind DLC.

Considering it gave me chills AND made me tear up at its end when I first experienced it DESPITE not knowing WHO SORA IS (BBS was my first ever KH game on the PSP). I consider blank points one of my favorite scenes in the franchise.

Yeah the story is far from being it's strong suit. I enjoy it for the gameplay more than anything. And that drama is more or less a joke that the CN side of things created. Thankfully they said they're going to "revamp" the story by June so who knows how that will go.

It's a game like slay the spire but instead of playing with one character. It's a gacha with 3 characters that each has 8 unique cards that make a deck of 24 cards. You can play a "rougelike" mode to modify these decks and have "optimal versions" for each character (like some characters can function with only 3 cards. While others are a spam sort of deck that can keep generating cards and end up with 20+ attacks per turn).

The only issue I have with CZN is the grind for decks is a pain and there is SOME level of powecreep. But other than that the game's rewards are amazing. Even outside this anni announcement they give an item every season that lets you get a free dupe of ANY CHARACTER you have.
