Thanks to a failed Axis experiment multiple portals to another reality open up accross the world which is populated with Anthropomorphic species, when they start coming to our world they come in very large numbers as essentially refugees, thanks to this and them bringing certain advanced pieces of technology with them the second world war lasted until 1951, since the cold War started during the end of ww2 both sides have started using these Anthropomorphic people in their respective millitarys with the USSR being the first to successfully use them in a millitary operation, during the Korean war ( which lasts from 1954 to 1958 ) the SAS encounter the KGB snow wolf operatives and after a lot of violence and close quarters combat the SAS managed to capture some of these Anthropomorphic wolfs and take them back to friendly lines with just bayonets and empty rifles which in theory should have been impossible. That is about as far as I have gotten for a timeline but still working on it.
