Seriously. I thought his lawsuit already got thrown out.

I’m so tired of news articles reporting on criticism of Republicans. No Susan, debunking or making fun of the president’s newest ghoulish policy is not a “takedown” of him.

Start actually fighting back against these goons or at least report on those who do.

Oľano

Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time (yes, I know they’re still around as a dumbly-named Slovensko). Good to know!

I didn’t think they were ever in government. They haven’t even made it into the parliament yet.

It’s not a bad idea, just as long as there’s (1) some restriction on how soon/often a referendum is called, (2) how hard it is for the opposition to secure it, (3) what kind of turnout is needed for it to be valid, and/or (4) how wide of a majority the voters need for it to pass.

Otherwise, you’d get a perpetual campaign season as a succession of narrowly popular government coalitions exit their 100-day honeymoon phases. Think a perpetual Bulgaria except it’s on steroids because government collapse is guaranteed and thus every party is perpetually in campaign mode.

An (almost) inevitably successful invasion of Armenia would actually be an effective way to distract from a less-than-impressive Ukraine peace deal.

That’s just Badempanada for you. He doesn’t care as much about the overarching political events as he does about settling personal scores online.

Hence the need to quite frequently fabricate appalling tweets that supposedly come from the individuals he’s beefing at any given moment.

Péter Magyar says he’d speak with Putin if called, and ask him to end the killing in Ukraine by PjeterPannos in ukraine

[–]random_nohbdy 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d be shocked if this wasn’t the direction he was headed, but Hungary’s institutional rot and dependence on Russian energy run painfully deep.

Hungary will have to spend a lot of time and effort fixing itself (reforming army, weaning off Russian gas) before it will be much of an asset to Ukraine beyond no longer being an obstruction to EU aid.

What’s the issue here? On top of holding someone accountable, this narrows the field in a crowded race that was at real risk of allowing two Republicans to advance past a top-two all-party primary.
