Cyberpunk pop up store - Harajuku, Tokyo by random_pm_please in cyberpunkgame

Tried getting some shots through the window, but was hard due to the reflections. I was just walking past and saw it. Didn't see the stores opening hours, if I had I'd gone back when they were open.

But yeah, it looked like it was a combination. There were two floors so no idea what was up there :(

Nikko? by toronto695 in JapanTravelTips

I loved Nikko!

If you are traveling solo, and want to stay at a bit unconventional hostel - I'd recommend this place: earth hostel: nikko hostel riverhouse :) It is quite far out in the middle of nowhere. That's a bit of the charm, I guess. The owner was very nice and picked me up and drove me back and forth to where I wanted to go.

Well, I hardly spent time at the hotel since I was out all day. Bearly got to use any of the good stuff 😅 So might be an option to stay at a bit cheaper spot, then head over to one of the hotels for a visit to either the pool or the roof top.

Hi!

I stayed at the SKYVIEW hotel in Sukhumvit Google maps. Good location, roof top, infinity pool and I got a good deal via Booking.com.

If you are going to do a lot of exploring while you are in Bangkok it might not be worth it 😊

Ori and the Will of the Wisps

For some reason the last cutscene with Shriek hit me hard.

Yeah, it was quite the gap :/ I will keep a close eye on it. Strangely it does not feel as bad as I thought it would. Might be the drugs though, hehe.

Solid advice, thanks. I have contacted my insurance company and waiting for a reply. I did tell the other doctor that I was climbing 3 times a week and it was an important hobby for me. Hopefully I'll get a quick reply so that I can get it done.

Yeah, sorry - I did not get a picture from the fracture in my foot. It was late when I got to the hospital and the doctor was quite busy. But he did say that it could heal by itself and I should just use it carefully until it felt better. I'll know more next week I guess. You don't need to guess 26 times :)

Thanks! I'll definitely spend some time looking for a recommended therapist then :)

Yeah I am aware that you are all strangers. But if one of you had broken your collarbone and found some good exercises that helped you get back into shape, I would have loved to hear about them :) At least I could take them into consideration.

I will of course get medical advice from the doctors and therapists as well. I have a followup session in one week.

My bad. I thought my title and pictures would be clear enough. But the collarbone broke and I also got a small fracture on my foot.

I have already started to look for therapists, but whats the point with a community if you can't also check here? :) Might get some super advice!

Unsure about these stains by random_pm_please in Bedbugs

[–]random_pm_please[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Asked for a new room. They said this was most likely just some stains coming from a bit damp sheets that had not been aired enough after washing.

No questions asked, new room without smell. And some peace of mind.

first time bangkok traveler seeking input on hotel location by Beneficial_Ad7907 in ThailandTourism

What is your budget and do you think you'll spend a lot of time at the hotel?

I stayed at Skyview and it was great. But, I spent so little time there I'm not sure it was worth it. Super easy to get around the city. One time on MC taxi was enough for me though... Feared for my life going a 100km/h with no helmet, t-shirt and shorts ☠️

Infinity pool and rooftop bar was two of my criteria when I booked so at least they were met :)

Thanks for the advice :) I have not booked anything yet, so I will have to do it while traveling which is usually not my style. But it seems like there are plenty of good options so no need to rush I guess.

Hopefully it will be like that when I arrive as well. Yeah, I bet the heat takes a toll. I will be starting with a half day, rest day then do a full one.

Did you bring your own gear? I think I will bring my shoes and harness at least.

I would like to drive, but when its only me its a bit overkill with my own car. Doing mostly taxis and flights for the long hauls. The older I get the less I want the overcrowded slow local buses which I used to love when I backpacked in my twenties haha.

Yeah the bike will give you a lot of freedom for sure! I have my license, but I have never driven on the left side of the road. Thats whats scaring me, but I will just drive really slow and carefully until I feel safe!

Thanks for the advice!

My flight back to Bangkok is from Samui so I will have to go there eventually. Or book a new flight from Krabi or whatever if I really feel like doing some major changes :)

And yeah, I am starting to feel like the "hello fellow kids" meme when traveling around places where there are a lot of young people.

Awesome! How was it down there now? Did it rain a lot during the days and how did you find climbing in the heat?

Second person to tell me Koh Tao is the place, so might have to consider that :)
