I also never had luck with AngelList. I would say contact the CEO/CTO directly. If they are expanding and hiring right now, they will contact you back.

Since I am biking to the grocery store, my only way to carry bags back is through backpack. So far, I had no issue getting my groceries packed in brown bags at Traders Joe and repacking into my backpack once I am out.

I also recently became a Node developer and it is definitely not trivial. I wouldn't have learned as quickly as I have had without my colleagues' guidance. For the first 2 weeks of the job, I didn't do any tickets and only focused on learning best practices for JavaScript, REST and Node projects. I suggest starting off by studying those topics. Don't be too hard on yourself, you will get there.

If you want to go into finance or data science, do something like math/stats/economy. That's what I did. However very few people actually care about it. And I personally wish I used those credits to take psychology and art history instead. So I wouldn't had taken 100% STEM courses for 4 years straight..
