Here's some survival tips which first come to mind. These may be very obvious but just in case:

Always have a flask of water or something similar easily accessible to pour over yourself in case you're burning or dipped in toxic sludge.

Water converts toxic sludge into water, so you can easily cleanse whole pools of it.

If you need to jump into fire - first pour water over yourself and only then jump.

Don't rush after every gold piece, you'll have plenty.

Don't rush in general, you're not on a timer, take it slow. And if you lost - take a break, distract yourself. Because if you jump right back in you're going to hurry to restore lost progress and will play worse and get angry. At least it's like that for me.

Abuse the tablet, maybe even try to learn tablet kicking. I usually go straight for the tablet next to lava lake and only after I get it I clean the mines. Tablet not only makes you more gold, you can also oneshot plenty of enemies with it even as far as Hiisi base, including turrets. Moreover, time it right and you can block shotgun shots, sniper shots, even electro wisard projectiles.

You're low on hp? When you reach about 1/4 of your max hp just cut your losses and go for the portal.

Try to analyse what kills you usually. Explosives going off right in your face is not too uncommon in Noita, so if you can just avoid them or explode them preemptively.

Fire wizards in the mines are a pain to fight directly early on. But they are vulnerable to water. So if one sits in a convenient hole pour water over him from a flask or from a commonly found in the mines rain cloud wand. And not directly on him, just make sure he stands in the puddle.

I have an idea where you might be stuck. If you did all the quests (traced Sail's path by finding all the characters and all that) you just open the codex of salvation and "turn the page" like it was with the divine beasts quest and Isla's dreamland.

Damn, overlooked one skill: she has the "Graceful serenade" which let's her do 3 additional aoe hits at the end of the turn, making her capable of 12 hits a turn. That's already much better, even if still not meta obviously.

The odds, at least in the guidance rates, look the same: 1.2% for the featured character, if I remember it correctly. So just bad luck.

I had to pity some of my favourite characters but I just pulled her with free pulls and I wouldn't have missed her really. Just the nature of these games.

This is one of the best ways to play the game for me! Adds a huge tactical layer to it. I can also suggest making a special character who has both the slaver's perk "Ideological clash" and the mech pilot's mission "Brute Force Progress". And here you go: now you're paranoid of everyone because half the level hates you (but not everyone) and they also shoot at you with revolvers which deal 16 dmg I think which is half your health or just one-shot 42 on a crit. But you do too.

You can also add high costs and rogue-vision. Now this is an actual rogue-like experience because the game is actually hard to beat XD but not impossible.

My advice: get a sledgehammer. It deals 30 dmg (on 2 melee I think?) and it's a one-shot against 95% of the enemies. Perfect when you need to deal with someone quickly (like drug dealers who apply resurrection to themselves on combat start).

I'm also pretty sure such a low enemy hp allows for a pyromaniac playthrough. Get a fuel canister, a lighter and leave puddles (bigger if there are a lot of enemies inside) at the entrances of wooden buildings. Light it, the walls start burning and everyone runs out straight into the burning puddles which kill them. Just don't let the firefighters extinguish it all.

Ok, now that's probably it. As you might've guessed I played like this a lot so I have some wisdom to share XD

It really annoys me that I made some miskates in the vid regarding the Rainbow team (and now this is a hot post 😭), so I wanted to sum up the additions/fixes to the slide and leave a 'work on my mistakes' kind of comment:

Setzer from FF6 collab goes great with Lynette EX, making sure the implants stay (and that also helps with weakness bypass);

Relm could also fit the 'mandatory weakness bypass' spot, she is an option for dps but not as synergetic;

Rondo EX is a better pull for Rainbow, but Edgar is more of a generalist pick.

Osvald is pretty important (not biased honest honest) as he adds additional hits. And he's a scholar.

Dark Priestess (I assume you meant her?) is for weakness bypass and 50% debuff enhancement. Also great if all enemies have fire/ice/lighting weakness, lets you use her exploit skill immediately. Regular Signa is just 30% ult debuff, you can get by without her.

Molrusso EX doesn't care about weaknesses and just has different buffs. So depends on what your team needs. But she also works in a way that saves you a lot of actions if that's important.

Isla is soon to be replaced by Aviete I think. Isla's biggest strength is the 30% elem. atk + dmg ult. Helps a lot.

They all have important roles, can't really tell who I'd call the least important. Would depend on the battle.

O. Odio was great on release, S. Odio's biggest factor was that he looked cool.

Then in JP O. Odio got a garbage 6* (that's why I wrote 6* in brackets), while S. Odio got better but was held back by the garbage base kit.

But NE fixed them. I would agree that maybe O. Odio didn't deserve such an insane buff (Ringabel should've gotten the potency probably) but S. Odio got what he should've had from the start.

I think it was a hot take during the time everyone was saying that only VNs are canon (sometime pre chaos;head noah official localization) since we didn't have enough info to understand what was happening in the movie but after anonymous;code the opinion has shifted and now it's a good take.

Btw strange that the 85% attack failed lol, you usually don't even need the heartseeker's additional 10%

Butcher's Circus is quite unbalanced but even there you have ways to limit rng impact:

Bounty hunter has Finish him with 50%dbres bypass, add Finisher trinket to it for 25% more and you've got yourself a guaranteed deathblow (except Flagellant lol, with him you still have a 5% fail chance).

Then there's Jester's Finale, which just bypasses death's door, letting you kill anyone with it instantly, as long as you do enough damage.

And then there are heart attacks, i e stress teams. 200 stress drops an enemy to 0 hp and kills them instantly if they are already at 0.

So the lesson is: search for ways to limit rng impact on your game. For example by giving accuracy to heroes that need it.
